“We absolutely loved our stay at Al and Sandra's. The beach and house are so peaceful and the snorkeling is great. We took the kayak out multiple times and snorkeled the reef for hours. It's easy to grab a taxi from the main road and venure into West End or West Bay. Al and Sandra were so helpful, especially when our flights were rebooked due to storms in Dallas and we didnt arrive until a day later than expected. Al was still able to pick us up and let us grocery shop on the way to the house so...

“This property is located on a quiet beach (Orchid/Turtle beach). Yet it is walking distance to both West End & West Bay if inclined. A dock is directly in front of the property & Big John was our “go to” water taxi & our shuttle driver was Rigo- both recommended by our host! “We had a great time at this beautiful house. Lots of space and we loved the multiple decks around the house to relax and enjoy the view. We also spent time in the pool and lounging in the yard under the sunshade. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and sit in the wonderful air conditioning. “Beautiful home!! Roatán never disappoints and this home was perfect for our group! The rain got us a couple of days but the home layout and the palapa outside allowed for us to stay comfortable even when having to stay home. They made the recommendation to use Chef Robby for a birthday celebration and that was a great experience and a highlight of the trip. Desiree was always very responsive and helpful. “The place was in walking distance of everything we planeed to do. Property manager arranged travel and met us at the place. Check in was nice and easy, swapped whatsapp with property manger for communication and they never bothered us..Only note hot water starts low in the shower turning on scale...took me 2 days to figure out.”

“Absolutely beautiful house and location. This was our first time to Roatan, and this was the perfect sanctuary to come home to every day. The fabulous kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, which we often did. (But we also enjoyed the local food every day! Make sure to try the baleadas!) "Es un lugar maravilloso hermoso encantador, los dueños muy amables, excelentes anfitriones, tienen unas cocineras que hacen una exquisita comida y la atención de ellas con excelencia te hacen sentir en casa, y todo el personal muy amables don Jaime bajo un coco y lo partió y me lo dio y bajó unos ricos mangos que mi esposo y yo disfrutamos frente al muelle de puerta azul, y don wilmer el siguiente dia nos bajó dos cocos para mi y mi esposo y lo partió y nos lo dió,Rosa cocina delicioso y yuliet nos atendió como reyes, wow nunca me habian echo sentir tan bien en un lugar como lo hizo el personal de puerta azul, y las dos señoritas de la recepción muy amables y pacientes,nos encantó tanto que el siguiente año llevarémos a mis suegros, mi mamá y mis hijas, tienen kayaks disponibles para los huéspedes, el muelle iluminado de noche es hermoso y seguro, las estrellas se ven hermosas, 1,000% recomendable, la habitación frente al mar es lo mejor y muy limpio"
