I was told i would receive the check in details at 4pm the day of my arrival. It took me messaging the host at 4:40pm to ask for the code to let myself in for me to get the check-in details. The location is convenient for walking around, but the immediate few surrounding buildings of the listing are run-down and often attract crowds of homeless people and drug activity. I walked out one morning and right outside a lady kicked a security officer from a nearby hotel and he chased her with a taser. Its cool that there is a hot-tub, but the water pressure is so low that it would take about 6 hours to fill up. The overhead showerhead doesnt get water coming out of about 1/4 of it. I messaged the host asking how I can divert the water to come out of the tub spout instead and they said to use the diverter on the spout, but there wasnt one. They said to send them pictures to a phone number so I did and I never heard back, even after reminding them the next day that Im waiting to hear back. I also woke up the first night to the AC being scheduled set to 55 degrees. And had to figure out how to use the Nest thermostat myself so I wouldnt wake up the remaining mornings to a frigid temperature. The wifi wasnt great either. The bed was comfortable and the unit was generally clean. It was a good price given the area but beware of a not-very-helpful host and a sub-par and confusing shower. Not to mention showering while standing in an empty hot tub is very strange, and quite slippery.
