The host was very friendly and always offered to be of assistance. We had a good time and the place was nice and clean, really loved the free parking as that was a big thing we were looking for. The one thing I didn’t care for is not having immediate access to the thermostat. I think that would have been nice to know before hand. You can work with the host to change the temperature, but again, not immediate and pending replies from host. Just nice to know. They were kind enough to provide ear plugs since you are near a medical center. However, we had a pretty noisy neighbor upstairs that sounded like he was doing construction or jumping jacks, coming home late and up early making noise. We aren’t hard to please, just thought I’d share my experience to help others make an informed decision on what you can expect.

Great Hillcrest Location !

Nathan’s studio offered everything that was needed for a short getaway in Hillcrest. The neighborhood is walkable and also offers convenient and close parking. Plenty of closet space and a lovely little bathroom. The sliding door provides plenty of light and privacy. The lighting in the room also has many options to adjust to your liking! The space was fresh and clean with plenty of towels and amenities at an affordable price. Would stay again!

Even better than last time

Decided to stay here for a full week after having stayed for three nights a year previous. It was a great decision. This place has everything I need and the area is so nice I walked to way more places than I was expecting (in no small part to the amazing summer weather of San Diego). I'll likely stay here again.

Good Spot for Our Short Stay

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this place. Short walk to shopping and entertainment are in Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego. We would stay there again.

Clean and comfortable place in a fun location … walkable to both Hillcrest spots and Mission Hills. Good communication with owners. Good parking. No one was staying in the apartment upstairs, so very quiet.

Nice little room in the heart of San Diego

Parking was reasonable, the room was clean and cool (I'm a desert boy, so the last part was no small thing), I had all the little things I could need for three nights. The best part was when I got back from dinner on the first night and found that the smoke detector was chirping in the entryway. I had no way of disabling it without risking injury, so I called the number given to me for a woman named Lulu. She was very helpful and made sure that, by the time I'd returned from my night out on the town, the issue was fixed. She saved the trip, because I wouldn't have been able to sleep with that thing chirping all night long! I would definitely stay here again.

Hillcrest Stay

nice property for a single or couple to stay. Excellent hotel room alternative within walking distance of a great vibrant neighborhood. Excellent communication with property owner who was very responsive to a few minor requests

Perfect Little SD Spot

This is a great spot! Hillcrest is a great neighborhood & the hosts provided so many great recommendations for in and around the area. My boyfriend and I stayed here for the SD Rock and Roll marathon & the location and comfort of the spot were perfect. The room is clean & has all the things you could need for a weekend getaways for two. Very comfy bed! We are out for most meals but after the marathon we were totally beat & just ordered dinner to the room. They have utensils, plates, cups, etc. Everything you could need! Even coffee! Nathan was a great communicator and was available quickly to help with any questions or concerns we had! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Delightful surroundings in quirky Hillcrest. Secure large room, outdoor patio with two chairs, parking with placard. Only complaint is no indoor/outdoor small table for eating.

Incredible stay with fantastic hosts

Nathan and Adam were incredible hosts during our stay! They were very responsive and on top of some very minor issues like an unexpected keypad malfunction. They had quick solutions for everything and were so polite the entire time! They had great recommendations for food and other activities while we were in town. I wish I could have them as my hosts for every trip I make in the future.

Quiet little spot

This is a quiet little spot in Hillcrest that's good for 1 or 2 people. It is the downstairs bedroom and bathroom of a townhouse that has someone else upstairs. The inclusion of fridge, microwave and coffee maker make the space very functional. We did have an issue at check in with the room not having been cleaned yet, but the manager was responsive and got it resolved quickly.

Satisfying stay

Host was very communicative! Loved suggestions of where to explore . Bed was super comfy and balcony perfect for our little pup. Parking was a big relief ( my daughter lives in North Park where it’s insane to find a spot!) Thank you for an overal great stay!

Cute place to stay in a great location

The room was nice and well kept, the little patio offered a nice private spot to step outside for some fresh air in the morning. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and walkable. There was always at least 1 or 2 spots for street parking while we were there.

Considerate renters

Stayed here with my girlfriend over New Years, the space was perfectly clean and welcoming and in a great area, any issues with the stay were easily and quickly handled upon texting the renters. We had a great time!
