“The views of the Pitons and Soufrière are gorgeous from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. We enjoyed the open concept house. While important areas are private, it gives an inviting place to spend time with friends or family or lounge in the open area and take in the views. It’s a little tricky to get there due to the nature of the roads. We had a little problem with a standard SUV but a 4x4 should have no problem. “The Purple cottage was a fantastic stay for our family! We didn’t want some fancy pants resort. We wanted to feel like locals and experience the island for its beauty and cuisine and we got all of that staying here! The door entry was easy and made it functional for our whole family. Yes there were mosquitos, but honestly there are mosquitoes all over the island. Bring bug spray if you’re worried!
