Absolutely adored the place, and photos ultimately don’t do it justice. Great location for getting to oak creek canyon and Sedona, stunning views both from the property and driving to and from it, and everything inside the place was immaculate. The art peppered throughout the house was stunning and made for fun viewing (I was finding pieces I hadn’t seen even as we were packing up), and while the way the rooms were laid out took a hot minute to get used to, by the end of our stay it felt like a thoroughly luxurious 2nd home. The outdoor space was great, the space between the garage and main house was a family favorite, and the kitchen was high end. I was admittedly a bit spooked when I saw the forms that came with the reservation (including limits on the AC temp, which wasn’t enticing as someone who enters a hotel room and immediately bottoms out the thermostat), but the managed property piece of the puzzle worked out amazingly well. When we first arrived it turned out the AC was acting up. But instead of discovering that ourselves and having to call for help, someone pulled into the driveway as we were unpacking, informed us of the problem, let us know the repair folks were on their way, and immediately started setting up three very-not-cheap portable AC units in each bedroom as a temporary fix. Despite unseasonable 100 degree temps during our stay, the house was a cool sanctuary the entire trip. Fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend.
