Great week in Sedona Home

We absolutely loved everything about this home. My 2 daughters and I came to hike the gorgeous mountains and loved returning to this fabulous home everyday. The location was quiet with breath taking views almost out of every single window. We hit some very cold weather the week we were there so we did not get to spend as much time as I had hoped sitting on the wonderful deck sipping coffee in the morning or wine in the evening taking in the gorgeous views. However, sitting in the amazingly comfortable lazyboy chair staring out the living room window was almost as perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. I hope we will be able to return soon. Thank you.

Hikers' Paradise

If one of your primary motivations for your Sedona visit relates to hiking, look no further than this house. You will access miles of trail options by walking out your door to one of the nearby trailheads...if you can pry yourself away from the view of the sun rising over Cathedral Rock while drinking coffee every morning! We are regular visitors to Flo and Bill's home, and can't wait for our next visit. If stargazing is your hobby, this is also the perfect house. Whether from the front patio or rear elevated deck, you will enjoy your stay. The home is perfectly located and the owners are a pleasure to work with.

Great property!

My wife, son and I had a wonderful stay here! We spent our time going on day hikes; the location is superb with fabulous views (some trails within walking distance from the house). The house was very clean and comfortable and just as described online. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely well appointed home

This home was comfortable and very well stocked. Location was great and views did not disappoint! From the pictures on line, I was looking forward to outdoor lounge chairs for star gazing in the evening, but sadly, the home did not have these. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Wonderful place

This property has a great location, with a big terrace and several types of outdoor furniture with a view of Cathedral Rock. You may have a hard time leaving the house to go hiking or sightseeing. It's very comfortable inside too and the upstairs master bedroom with its private large balcony is charming.

Spring Break Get Away

It is a wonderful location and better than advertised! There is an abundance of hiking and biking trails within a mile of the house. Quiet neighborhood away from the hectic pace of the downtown area with fabulous views. Highly recommend this property!

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

This was our third stay here. We love how well located it is for hiking trails and how easy it is to get into town. We also love that it is a bit out of the way of the crowds and shops. Florene is an absolute pleasure and communicates quickly and clearly. The house was recently upgraded with new flooring and furniture and the kitchen has everything you need. I love this property and look forward to our next visit!

The owner and property manager could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were very worried about wifi because working remotely and worked out perfectly. Views of Cathedral were so stunning the pictures didn't do it justice! Can't be captured in a photo!! Amazing quiet location. Walkable to beautiful trailheads and Crescent Moon Ranch.

* Beautiful home with Majestic Views *

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Florene and her beautiful home. This was our first VRBO experience and we did not know what to expect! We had questions about check in and Florene was an outstanding host~ quick to respond when I texted her and was very patient with all of my questions. Florene's home is spotlessly clean, well maintained (inside and out), thoughtfully decorated and filled with amenities in case you forget something at home! The views of Cathedral Rock are spectacular whether you are drinking your morning coffee on the front porch or from her comfy living room chairs! The VRBO listing pictures do not even begin to capture the breath-taking surroundings! Her West Sedona home is perfectly located a short distance from town for shopping, restaurants and groceries, but it is also within walking distance to several scenic local trails. For example, you can walk to Crescent Moon Ranch within minutes where you can wade across Oak Creek, explore some fantastic trails, eat a picnic lunch and then hike up to Cathedral Rock. (We did this 2x!) We spent our week exploring the trails within walking distance (Scorpion and Pyramid are outstanding at sunset) and also the more popular trails that were only a short distance away by car. We explored gorgeous hikes during the day and then relaxed on the comfortable upper deck furniture for star gazing at night. The night sky is spectacular at her home! We spent hours viewing the stars and enjoyed coyotes serenading us in the distance 🏜 Our only complaint: 7 days was not long enough! So we plan on returning again!

Wonderful Location, Great House

My sister and I just returned from a four night stay and the house was perfect. Great location with two hiking trails right near the house and an amazing view from the front patio. (I think it was Cathedral Rock, just amazing to watch the light change during the day on this magnificent rock.) The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in Sedona. We had a great time hiking and enjoying the area. The house is so quiet at night, in a peaceful neighborhood. We would love to stay again, thank you for sharing your wonderful retreat with us!

Everything was explained well (once we clarified an incorrect billing from the property management company after booking), and the description of the house and property was accurate. Beautiful accommodations, everything needed was there, and everything was labeled, which was very helpful. The "book of things to know" that covered everything in and out of the house was especially helpful. We really enjoyed the stay.

Sedona Vacation

This property is located close to everything and yet away from all the busy main part of town. Florene has done a great job provding all that you need. We stayed for 10 days and had a woderful time. The inside of this house is nicely done we really enjoyed seeing the stars at night as you are away from the city lights.

Fabulous views in quiet neighborhood

Your host Florene is a gem and she will help you find all the best spots to dine and have fun! Plus her home is fabulous with all you could possibly want. The views are spectacular on the front patio and we enjoyed our dinners looking at Cathedral Rock. We spent time on the upstairs deck enjoying cool breezes. Inside was well designed and just the right space for 2 couples. Only small complaint was the propane tank was empty and though we called Chris at Foothills we weren’t able to get it replaced. But the kitchen allowed us to pivot and get our dinners prepared in tasty fashion. Thanks Florene for all your suggestions and sharing your beautiful home!

Excellent location for hiking...

This was our second time at this property. We were in Sedona for the hiking and this property is perfectly located for dozens of trails. It is located in a neighborhood in west Sedona, so away from the crowds and traffic, but is still a quick trip to the grocery stores etc on 89A. The listing is accurate and the house, especially the kitchen, is stocked with everything you need for a great visit. Florene is a great host and the view of Cathedral Rock is unparalleled. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the first views of sunrise to the last glimpse of the sun as it disappeared behind the mountain, we could see every beautiful view. We also took advantage of the hiking trails within walking distance, and the short drive into Sedona and other hiking areas. Would highly recommend this beautiful home, located in a perfect location.

1st time Sedona vacation

We absolutely loved our stay! Had one of our best vacations! Florene was so wonderful in directing to the things to do and wonderful places to eat. The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Most of all the view was gorgeous!! The pictures do not show how stunning it really is. We had a few clear nights and star gazed off the master bedroom deck. We hiked at a lot of various location then started to hike close to the house and realized we had some the best trails out the back door. We definitely plan to return and would book again. The house was spotless. The kitchen was great to cook meals, lots of counter space, and we loved having the little carport. We never turned on the TV, there's plenty to do and see.

Amazing Sedona Property

We loved everything about this home. It was in a nice, quiet area in West Sedona. It was great to visit Uptown Sedona and then come back to the house without all the crowds. There is excellent hiking down the road at Pyramid and Scorpion trails and Cathedral Rock. The views from inside the house, the front deck and the 2nd story balcony were truly stunning. We watched the sunrise and sunset every day. The house has everything you could possibly need including beautiful dishes, glassware, spices and pots and pans. We grilled every night and sat on the patio for dinner looking at Cathedral Rock. Florene and the property management were very helpful and responsive to any questions.

Cathedral Rock and hiking

We enjoyed the property very much. Our primary reason for going to Sedona was to hike and this house was very convenient to many hiking trails on the west side of Sedona. And the view of Cathedral Rock was fantastic! The sunsets of the rock were wonderful. It was a little bit of a drive to Uptown Sedona but not bad at all. Just know that 89A can get busy at times and that will affect your travel time. But it's nothing that would stop us from staying here again.
