But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! The beds were the worst, sadly. Both the king and queen beds were extremely soft, had severe depressions in the matress and unfortunately we had to sleep on the two couches. Loved the house and was looking for a place to stay every year same time, but we will not return unless the bedding issue is resloved.

Nice location, on the creek and very private. Check in was easy. House is as wonderful as is the location. House has been very nicely renovated and is pristine. Saw wildlife on property including a doe and buck deer. Only complaint group had is 50% deposit requirement which seem excessive compared to other rental sites. Regardless, have already made reservations at this home for 2026. Be sure to get the cancellation insurance to safeguard the deposit.

House was immaculate, and so comfortable. We all felt so “at home”. Shopping either “downtown” or on the outskirts was very convenient. We absolutely loved the outdoors & all the wild life we saw! The sound of the running creek nearby by was so relaxing & tranquil. Absolutely love it!!

The house was perfect for our vacation with our family. We loved the large layout, big kitchen, and decor. Our favorite part of the property was the creek in the backyard and all the outdoor seating. It felt private and the beauty of the creek made it extra special. We would love to stay there again.

This is a beautifully appointed, very clean, restful and private property right on Oak Creek. We enjoyed the large high-end kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals in the home. Our only negative comment relates to the king and queen mattresses. They were, unfortunately, very worn out and in need of replacement.

Beautiful view

Overall was a beautiful place to stay in Sedona. The sound of the creek and the views were everything! The house is ok. The kitchen is nice. The layout is a little strange, master bedroom and bathroom is nice with a large shower. The room with twin beds has a closet with doors that don’t open. The other secondary bedroom is small, but nice. The beds and pillows are not exactly luxury, could be nicer with better mattresses. The guest bathroom shower door doesn’t close, it’s not installed properly. Parking is on a gravel lot, not covered. There are other houses on the property, we weren’t sure if someone else was living on property or not. As two female visitors we would like to know and should be put in the check in info for safety reasons. Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay, with only a short drive to uptown.

Awesome home in an awesome location in Sedona!

We loved our stay in this home in Sedona. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We were 10-20 minutes from everything we wanted to visit- like popular hiking trails, uptown Sedona, the Arts and Crafts village, grocery stores, and restaurants. It's really nice that they provide a national park pass and some great recommendations for food and activities. This is a special house in a special place. We hope to be able to return one day!
