“Yes its a beautiful resort! Rooms are amazing and housekeeping team is top notch-shout out to Helmy and Mohammad on the 19th floor! Front desk were also helpful and smiley! But the service level anywhere else is not representative of a Rixos level! Staff at the buffet, restaurants , bars are clearly not happy working there and it shows in how they deal with customers. “I used to love that hotel but the service and food quality dropped significantly. The rule for pool usage and allowed swimming suites changed and seemed that people use swimming pools wearing their regular clothes. Instead of fresh squeezes they offer packages juices that taste like plastic. In the whole hotel there was no US outlet adapter, all the room outlets don't work for US electric devices or electronic charges. The quality dropped significantly after management change. “We just came back from a 4 day stay at Seven Seasons at the end of May 2024. El Alamein is an hour away from Alexandria, which wasn’t something we hadn’t fully realised until we got there.
