“So clean and cozy! Great place to stay”

“The grounds were not well-maintained. Grass was tall, in need of cutting, two dead decorative shrubs at the entrance of the door, large tree limbs on the roof and on the property grounds, would’ve liked to have enjoyed the gazebo, but the path was overgrown, needed mulching, gazebo not clean to sit in. We wanted to sit on the front porch, but it too was unkept-dirt and sticks. Ice machine was empty all the time. TV on the bedroom wall, but had to stream with buffering pauses. We booked a two...

“Good room, excellent common area, in a neighborhood near Main Street,”

“We had trouble with key pad it took the last day to finally get use to it. There is poor communication about were the room is located. Ours ended up On second floor which if I had been aware would not have booked there (have ashma and have trouble climbing steps. ) small ice machine with all the guest it was always empty. IT ADVERTISED AS QUIET BUT WITH NOISEY GUEST TRAIN WHISTLE AND OLDER BUILDING it was not. I think with some matenance repairs it could be a nice place.”

“Clean room and great space.”

“Perfect location to hike the Appalachian Trail in Shenandoah National Park. Many restaurants within walking distance Lots of fun activities nearby. Enjoyed the Hawksbill Greenway and the free concert across the street at Ruffner Park.We had a Great Time!”

“Property was just what we wanted: dog friendly, quiet, rest place while we enjoyed hiking in the Shenandoah Valley. ”

“My husband and I stayed 1 night. The room was private and easily accessible. The communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Would recommend to fks traveling through Luray.”

“This property was charming and quaint. For us two sisters wanting two separate beds, only the 3rd level attic type room was available, which entailed walking up 2 sets of stairs and the last one pretty steep. This was not quite relayed to us when booking. The property has two big pluses: it is only a quick walk to the Main street with lots of nice restaurants and shops AND only 10 minutes to the majestic Luray Caverns. Not sure if because of the time of year, but the patio was not cleaned...

“Very nice apartment in a historical building. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Everything was lovely. Owner promptly answered questions. I didn't realize how much traffic came through this town. Fortunately, the bedroom door blocked the street noise. It was a very nice respite from a long drive.”

“BE AWARE fellow travelers: WASP INFESTATION HERE. Owners are fully aware and unconcerned because it's "the mountains". I'm a country gal myself and well acquainted with the cycles of nature, but not cool to let things get this bad and not disclose it. We're not talking 1 or 2, we're talking several new visitors dropping in every day from the window frames or ceiling fan in the living room. One evening had one come down from the window and get aggressive while in shower. If not for this fact,...

“There was a very strong odor. It met our needs for 1 night.”

“It was a very pleasant stay. We chatted it up with Stuart the owner he was very nice. The place was super clean and we had everything we needed. We would totally stay again. Great experience!”

“Perfect for a quick getaway. There are 3 tiny cabins on the property, but they are situated to provide privacy. Our cabin was the furthest from the river (a short walk away). The cabin is tiny, but it had what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grill/patio.”

“Exceptional stay. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay then this is the place for you. Comfortable, clean and near the attractions. Great communication from the owner. We enjoyed our weekend stay!”
