“A great place to stay from the friendly hosts to the comfortable room. The treats in the room to the snacks to purchase. The fridge to keep our drinks cold and the wonderful breakfast hamper. Everything showed how much thought had gone into making our stay the best it could be. There was also a parking spot for every room. We will tell all our friends and family about this lovely idyll.”

“Due to a change in circumstances we had to book a hotel in Oban at short notice. The Scott was one of the few hotels that had a room available for one night. The hotel is located on the main road as you drive into town. The traffic was a little noisy up until 9pm It has parking at the back of the hotel at a cost of £10 for 24 hours. “El hotel es una joya de edificio, en un lugar céntrico, lamentablemente se nota el paso de los años, solo esta reformado el baño, el resto de la habitación y hotel esta en pésimas condiciones, mobiliario antiguo y estropeado, la moqueta, las paredes todo deteriorado, las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado y aún en invierno la temperatura de la habitación es altísima y desprenden olor a viejo y humedad, ojalá pongan remedio y restauren este viejo hotel porque lo merece.”

“This older home was charming and the host was as well. Breakfast is not provided but our host had a bag of items to take with us for the day, including a banana, a carton of juice, granola bar etc. Tea and water was available to make in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep so be mindful of that. You can walk to restaurants but the shortcut is a bit steep too.
