“It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

“Stationnement gratuit. Par 2 fois, la chaîne dans le réservoir de la toilette s’est désaccordées, donc après une flush toilette est non utilisable. La deuxième nuit, je n’est pas fait partir la chasse d’eau parce que je ne voulais pas qu’elle se brise encore. Je l’ai faite partir à mon départ. Pas assez d’éclairage dans la chambre. Très belle chambre et salle de bain très propre, matelas et draps très confortable.”

The room we had really spacious and perfectly decorated, which highlights the large vintage collection of iron plates and other antiques. The owner very friendly and fun, with an excellent service of homemade breakfast. Maximum cleaning in the room. Comfortable bed. Excellent wifi. I do not think there's a better place in Caribou.
