“Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

“Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice. “We stayed 3 nights in June. The host, Peggy and Mike are very nice and responsive throughout our stay. Bedrooms and bathroom are clean which is a plus for me. There’re ants, spiders and other bugs inside the house but it’s understandable given the remote and rural area. Dining option is very limited so be sure you prepare food prior. “House was ready early for us to check in as soon as we got into town. We loved the location! Close to restaurants and grocery store and only 15 minutes to Sequoia Park entrance, which was our reason for coming. Hot tub was perfect after daily hikes. ”

“Very clean and comfortable house on the Kaweah River. The house is about 15 minutes the Sequoia Gate. The house was very nice…not a deal breaker but there is no dishwasher. It was just my husband and i but if there is a family that’s quite a bit of dishes to wash. Again, great house. ”

“The cabin was very large for 3 families of 3 with young children and toddler. Lots of rooms for the kids to run around with books and toys for them to play with in the closet. Located about 10 minutes from town, but there is lots of driveway for the kids to use bikes and area around the house is good for the kids to explore. Overall wonderful experience!”

“The property is exactly as depicted in the pictures! Inside is spacious and lovely and the view really relaxes you and refocuses your mind. All the amenities were is good working order!
