The unit was very clean and decorated really nice. It was a lot larger than i expected. Communication with host was within a couple of mins. I wish we had more time to stay. Location was great and central to everything in historic district. Convenient store right next door and plenty of restaurants and attractions within a short walking distance. Definitely returning to this spot next time we visit St Augustine. To my surprise, it was literally across the street from one of my favorite clothing store, 360 Boutique:)

The place was clean, organized and perfect for our needs to stay with a toddler. Danny was very quick with all my questions and setup when we got there was so easy and quick! Place was nice and quiet, bathroom was clean, no weird smells and most importantly it’s in the perfect location for a nice St. Augustine getaway. Couldn’t find any issues at all. Definitely a repeat customer from here on out!

Cute apartment with a great location. Everything was clean. Very close to the downtown area, cafe's and shops. Great communication with the host. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this place again.

PERFECT FOR A COUPLE

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Maria 1. It was clean and very comfortable. The location is very convenient for walking to attractions, restaurants, bars and shopping. We did use Uber a few times because of the weather. Prior to arrival, Danny sent a detailed list of things to do and places to eat/drink in the area. A stop for the On-Off trolley is nearby and a coffee shop is at the end of the street. Danny was very prompt in answering our questions. We have no negative comments. We would stay here again and would recommend to others.

We were here for our honeymoon. The location was perfect. Walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. Beautiful neighborhood and the people are very nice.

Warm, but good location.

During the day the house was definitely warm. The bathroom door is also a bit difficult to open. However, the location was the perfect distance from the Fort and historical downtown, everything was within walking distance. Everything was clean.

Short Intimate Trip for 2

I planned an intimate trip away with my husband and we had a fabulous time. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you would need. Free WiFi. Netflix. The King size bed is well broken in and there was an extra blanket in the closet that used cause I’m cold natured. The toilet and sink was clean. The sheets were clean. St George street is a short walk away and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around and eating all the yummies and buying souvenirs for the family. Best restaurant was Harry’s. The blackened redfish was to die for. We also went to the classic car museum and had a great time and rented a slingshot and went over the Bridge of Lions and saw the beaches. St Augustine is beautiful. A lot of the little dives have live music and there are performers performing on the streets Everyone was friendly. The entry lock was easy to use and the water in the shower was hot My only constructive criticism would be that the place could use a mattress topper and a deep cleaning The blinds in the bathroom and windowsill were dirty. And the cabinet in the kitchen had some kind of crusted food on it. Also the fireplace could use a new coat of paint. Otherwise it was lovely and worth the price. There is a little convience store 20 feet away. You can get your beer and drinks. maple street biscuit company is a good breakfast place!

Great location

This apartment was within walking distance of most areas. Having a designated parking spot was also a big plus. The place was clean, we didn’t really need much, but everything we did need was available.

The property was exactly as pictured. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Easy walk to downtown St. Augustine. Suggestions. Entry lock does not light up so difficult to see numbers. Bed mattress needs to be turned or replaced as tenants roll to the middle of the bed. Would stay there again. Money value very good.

Lovely location

Loved the walkable location to downtown St. Augustine. The living room has French doors so can essentially be used as a second room if you have a blow up mattress. Enjoyed the historic home features.

Great Experience

Everything at the property was exactly how it was described. It was very clean and spacious for the size of the house. It was in walking distance of a lot of the restaurants, bars, and shops in the local area which was great. I could park my car and meet my other friends, who were also staying in the area very quickly. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway to stay at this house. Thank you. Great experience.

Greatest stay

I have been staying a few days in St Augustine every year for the last 8 or 9 years. Sometimes I would stay at Hilton Doubletree and other times look for bnb's. This has been hands down the greatest hidden gem I have ever found. I could honestly live here. The place was immaculate and was more spacious than I had even hoped for. Additionally, the owners were consistently prompt with communication from start to finish. Everything about this stay was perfect, including location. For all future visits to St Augustine I will try to book this again over any other bnb or hotel!!! Thank you so much!!!

Location Location Location!

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Maria! It was perferct for the solo traveler that I am. I would recommend this place for a couple as well. What i liked most was how conveniently located it was to the sites I toured in the city. I was able to leave my truck parked at the rental and walk to many locations. I would highly recommend Casa Maria and will definitely stay again there one day!

Casa Maria 1 Review

Great location (walking distance to just about everything) made Casa Maria a great find! Positives = Location; free off-street parking; spacious apartment; mini-split A/C in the bedroom; great communications and recommendations from the owners on where to eat in the local area. Needs improvement = King mattress needs replacing (big divot in the center caused my wife and I to roll into each other); Window A/C in the kitchen is extremely loud each time it kicks in...so much so that we had to shut it off at night so it wouldn't wake us up; No iron/ironing board; no drawers in bedroom for unpacking (only in bathroom); bathroom garbage can lid needs fixing; some starter Keurig coffee pods would have been awesome! Finally, as renters ourselves, it would have been great to have been able to check into the apartment a little bit early without an extra charge (since the apartment was clean and ready to go). Instead, we sat in our car in the driveway for 45 minutes waiting for 4:00 pm to arrive. The electronic lock didn't activate until exactly 4:00 pm, but could have been released earlier. These little niceties make starting one's vacation so much better!

Great Location!

Really enjoyed our stay! The property is close to St. George St. ( shopping and restaurants). Also, close to the fort, Ripleys, and other interesting sites. You have everything you need at the property. Only thing that was missing was an iron/ironing board. Definitely will go back if we visit again!
