“This place was so cozy and felt like home. We loved the hot tub and the dogs loved the giant fenced in yard. They also enjoyed watching the cows, horses, and chickens across the street. It was a great little getaway with pretty fall colors and nice quite atmosphere. ”

Views of lake obstructed by trees but that seems to be the case for most homes on this lake. Easy access to gas, groceries, etc.. and marinas were just a short drive away. The cabin was very cozy and furnished with everything you could need. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were sooo comfortable. “Very spacious for our group of 14. All of the adults had their own king size bed. The 6 kids present enjoyed the community pool and nearby basketball hoop. They also enjoyed the lower level shuffleboard table, pool table and air hockey game. We loved use of the tram to get our coolers to and from the nearby dock. Our,only complaint was the gas grill provided was sub standard and should have been replaced for our stay. ”

“The view from the deck is amazing. The beds were very comfortable, more than any that I've ever stayed at. It was nice to have a fenced-in yard for our dogs. It was within 20 minutes of numerous restaurants, Walmart, and Kroger. The game room was a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed playing Pac-Man. The family room off the deck was nice and big, very comfortable, had a nice TV, and a great view. That's where we spent a lot of time, and loved it.”

"The building is beautiful, as is the park. I think the staff who checked us in need to improve their customer service. However, the restaurant staff and checkout staff were wonderful. The hotel smells awful, and the room cleaning is terrible. It's a great shame since the building is beautiful and the natural surroundings are a unique wonder. I hope the hotel's management improves its cleanliness and renovates the facilities. The hotel has beautiful surrounding areas, but they literally look abandoned. The visitor center is beautiful, as is the natural beauty of the place. It's truly a great shame that the hotel is so dirty and abandoned."
