“More modern bathroom”

“We just loved the stay. Great view. Perfect service and a Owner that is passionate!”

“I cannot recommend highly enough. I stayed for 5 nights in September and would return tomorrow if i could. The hotel itself is lovely with a lovely garden, it looks out over the park, there is tea and cake available every afternoon and it feels so homely. The staff are faultless and could not be nicer or more helpful if they tried, it was such a pleasure to stay there and is only a few minutes walk from the centre but lovely and quiet.”

“The property was lovely, the breakfast was varied and we really enjoyed it. The garden and pool area is amazing and peaceful. The staff were lovely and helpful”

“Staff always great”

“Der Pool war leider nicht nutzbar da recht klein, konstant ein Staubsauger eingelassen war und er nicht ganz sauber - das lag vermutlich eher an Mangel an Kenntnis wie man einen Pool korrekt reinigt. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und aufmerksam ”

“This was a beautiful property, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They coordinated a wine tour, and made great recs for food in town. They upgraded our room, which was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well, it included yogurt fruit and granola as well as a full English, coffee and juice but they seemed willing to make whatever you wanted. I had avocado toast one day. I would definitely recommend this guest house and would love to stay again!”

“Loved the breakfast. Just enough options and friendly staff cooking up your order.”

“Unser Zimmer war sauber, außerdem gut und komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt mit Optionen von light breakfast bis full breakfast. Bei schönem Wetter bietet der kleine Pool Liegen zur Entspannung. ”

“The property is in the perfect spot to walk to the main area in Stellenbosch, but it is also perfect to visit the vineyards around. Breakfast was tasty, with a good variety of fruit, cheese and pastries among other things. Tashriq was an incredible host, offering great advice of where to visit and eat. He was also very helpful when we had an issue with the shower. ”

“Stunning hotel dating back to the 1700’s in a great location.”

“We had a lovely stay at Acara. The host was a joy to converse with and very accommodating. The location was excellent and made it easy to visit many vineyards, beaches, and shopping in the surrounding area. The views of the mountains, vineyards, and horses from our cottage were also a highlight. We look forward to visiting again! ”

“Such a gem! Loved it, will be back!”

“Clean comfortable and owners who went above and beyond to make you welcome. Fantastic!”

“Room was outdated and price was great but i couldn't sleep whole night. Room is facing busy roundabout and people were driving whole night. There was also noise of people going back from bars at the night. Then there is a coffee shop downstairs and as from 6am, I heard all noise from kitchen and even talking stuff. However, staff is very helpful. The cheap price has its cost and I paid it. I definitely would not stay again.”
