“Clean, comfy bed, and great shower. But be aware that the central location to the square = a lot of noise. Disturbances include a constant ticking type sound in the room, noisy bar patrons in the evening, and the constant ringing of church bells on the 1/2 hour. Appreciated the provided ear plugs. ”

Comfy beds with lovely white crisp bedding. Very warm and cosy. We had continental breakfast and ate our evening meal in the hotel on Sunday. Food was excellent. “FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”

Breakfast was a disaster, mouldy bread, mouldy fruit in the fridge, things way past their use by/ best before dates ”
