Great house and a great time. Usually most homes dont have a quarter of the kitchen amenities that this home came with which was amazing. We had a great time relaxing in the home and enjoyed sitting on the dock. Home also came with everything you need to enjoy a beach stay; chairs, kayaks, bikes, you name it !!! Will def look to stay here again when we come back to Holden.

Perfect stay! It rained just about everyday but it didnt bother us. We would just look out at the canal or play games and puzzles. They had everything we needed there and never got bored. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there the next time we come to holden beach!

Amazing visit! Well stocked kitchen and garage was filled with all the fun things! Loved the access to the kayaks. And the screened in porch was perfect. Short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Amazing!!

This house was truly perfect for us. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it couldn’t have been more convenient. They had everything we needed and more. We loved having the bikes to ride every evening and all of the beach toys/chairs were so nice. We already booked for next year!

Perfect for our family

I’ve been in a dozen rentals at beaches and mountains and this was maybe our best. Clean, everything as it was stated. Well equipped with things that were useful. Close to the beach. Immediately felt like our home away from home. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for families! The house was clean, within walking distance of the beach, and offered so many items to help you enjoy at the beach! We loved all the beach gear available, and the detail/consideration of the host resulted in a perfect beach weekend!

Excellent stay!

I could not say enough good things about this house! The house is beautiful, clean, organized and well stocked. The location was perfect as well. Our son enjoyed the short walk to the beach, fishing off the dock and riding bikes. We will definitely be renting again.

Summer Vacation 2024

Truly enjoyed the house. Extremely well equipped kitchen it would be a little more perfect if it had an Air Fryer, Keurig Coffee Maker, electric grill. Recommend hand bars on the two walls in master bathroom.shower. In our particular case it would have been beneficial for either allowing the use of boat lift or raising the lift so a jet ski could be docked under it on high tide. The place would be perfect if it had an elevator possibly nrct to the landing at the rear stairs so not to take away from the look of the house.

Exactly what we were looking for

Our stay at Anchor's Away was perfect. It had exactly we were looking for- private dock with easy access to the intracoastal waterway, and short walk to the beach for the non-boating time. The house was very clean, well furnished, spacious, and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great location and amenities

We had a wonderful three night stay at Anchor's Away - four adults, three tweens. Plenty of room for all of us and we loved the multiple porch areas for eating and relaxing. Location was perfect - the canal was great for fishing and or kayaking but yet a super quick five minute walk to the beach via the public access by the Holden pier. The kids loved fishing off the dock and looking for crabs. The extras provided by the host were what stood out for us - it was wonderful to be able to use the kayaks in the canals. The host also provided the beach gear we needed (beach cart, beach towels, boogie boards and beach mat) which means we did not have to bring everything from home. Lots of places to rinse off such as outdoor shower and foot spray to eliminate sandy feet in the house. Kitchen had everything we needed - lots of dishes, plates, silverware, pots and pans of various sizes etc and we found everything to be clean. We thought the house looked better than the pictures. Washer/dryer is accessible on the first floor by an inside stairwell. Becky was responsive to questions and we will definitely stay again if in the area.

Perfect spot! Book now!

This is just the loveliest spot. We towed our 23” boat with us and having a private dock just made for a wonderful week long experience. The house itself was extremely clean and well appointed - seriously, they had everything you could need. The beach was also just down the street, so very convenient. The hostess, Rebecca, was extremely helpful along the way. I couldn’t have better things to say, can’t wait to go back!

Great House and Location

Our stay at anchors away was fantastic. The house along with the entire property was very clean and everything was super easy to use! Rebecca was an excellent host and very responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here.
