  • New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

    Relax and enjoy the comfort of The Owen-ly Place to Be, located a short walk from the beach. The light-filled Great Room features comfortable furniture and a cable TV, while the well-equipped kitchen includes a two-seat bar. Gather at the six-seat dining table and enjoy family meals. Kick back and relax on the covered porches. Highlights include an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, and plenty of parking. Dog friendly & Non-Smoking.

Short walk to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay. Had mostly everything you needed and it was a super short walk down the road and across the street to the public beach access. Very convenient with having a two year old and infant. It’s also a short drive to a few restaurants and local coffee shop which was nice! We would stay here again!

Perfect little spot

This house is older and a little dated but was great for our beach trip. It is a short 2 min walk to the beach. The front porch is amazing you can see the waterway and beach. Love that it is dog friendly. Customer service was also amazing and attentive. Will book again

We enjoyed our stay. Great location in the middle of the island. We enjoyed our dogs and family members that would stay based on their work schedule.

We had a great week! The weather was perfect. This is our second time staying at the Owenly place and will be back. Love the location and beach access at the end of the street. We also enjoyed dinner at Smacnalley's.

Lovely Place!

Overall the place was great! We really enjoyed the location of the house and the cleanliness that it had. There were only a few things that we had noticed within the house that could use a few updates and fixes. But overall we were very pleased with our stay, and are looking to book this place again for next year!

Everything was great , the beds were uncomfortable for everyone. Some were like laying on box springs. Some foam mattresses off amazon for 150 each would fix every bed. Loved the house and location , thank you for having us.

Accurate online listing. Great location with easy beach access. Great response from rental management. Quick and courteous service techs that handled some minor issues in a timely manner. Would definitely stay at this rental again.

Best Getaway

This was the cleanest, coziest, and spacious beach house for my family and I. We loved the Owenly Place To Be! The views from the porch, especially on the swing are just stunning. This was our first ever time in Holden Beach and the beauty and QUIET is exactly what we needed. Forced us to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean horizon. We were accommodated so well and everything was just perfect. So thankful for such a cozy stay. We hope to be back one day!

Great location but dated home

We loved the proximity to the beach and that there was a fenced in back yard for pets. The home could have used a good cleaning, as the kitchen was rather dusty from seeming disuse. Some of the appliances were dated but functional.

Great getaway!

We booked this home for a little last minute spring break getaway. The home was great and had newer floors and furniture. The neighborhood was quiet and we even had a little view of the ocean and ICW from the front porch. The public beach access is a very short walk at the end of the road. We would definitely return again in the future.

Great Stay at the Beach!

This house was in a great location. It is not on the beach, but you walk half a block to the end of the street the house is on and you are at the beach access. It is only a couple minutes from the bridge if you need to go to the mainland for food or beach supplies. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking & eating. The rooms were large & spacious. The beds were comfortable. The house is a bit dated, but it didn't take away from our experience.

Nice Location

Liked the amount of bathrooms, the supplied towels are hotel grade. Pet friendly, back yard fence low but my dogs enjoyed running around in the yard. Nice size kitchen. Plenty of beds. Front deck swing could have been fixed prior to renting. Back deck needs to be refinished. Someone complained about our dogs barking but every house on the street had barking dogs.

Good house

This was a great basic beach house close to the sand and boat ramp. It had some small things but all homes do. They provide sheets but bring blankets. I was able to park my boat in the driveway no problem. Street parking not allowed which could be an issue depending upon how many cars you have. The boat ramp in Holden has very little parking and the ramp itself is in disrepair. I would drive to the ocean isle ramp.
