“We took a chance with Maui and Makena, always having stayed in Princeville and Hapuna Beach. The condo and its location lived up to all our hopes. Impeccably clean, well stocked, location and views cannot be beat. The owners love their home, and it shows. Just what we were looking for. We will for sure return. “Everything was as I had expected. Beautiful ocean views. The rooms were beautiful and big. The pictures were right on spot. We did not need any cooking equipment. They had everything you could possibly need. The outside was absolutely beautiful. Only a minute walk to beach or swimming pool. I did my first ever snorkeling. It didn’t cost a thing. They have beach chairs umbrellas ice chest. What ever you need to be comfortable for the beach including towels. ”

“Our family of four had a great week at Makena Surf! The condo is well equipped and a great location on the property. The unit is right by the pool (but not loud) and a short walk to the beach. The unit has an amazing view of the ocean on the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon drinks. If we find ourselves back in South Maui, we will for sure return to this unit! Thank you for a lovely visit! ”

“Wonderful property, quiet location but still convenient to local activities, restaurants, etc. The snorkeling right off the property was *fabulous* with many turtles (keep your distance) and plenty of reef wildlife. It’s best to get out early in the day when the water is most calm and before the big snorkel tour boats start pulling up nearby. The great snorkeling here isn’t a secret unfortunately!Mahalo, Sue and Clark!”

“Makena Surf is a great place to stay, just a mile or so away from the major tourist areas. F-204 is fantastic (especially the panoramic view of the ocean), the beach is wonderful and never crowded, the pool is incredible, and we had everything we could need during our stay. If you want to be close to the tourist areas but not in the heart of it, this is the place. Maria is fantastic to work with! Hope to return!”
