“Very nice deluxe room which was lovely and clean. It had a small balcony but panoramic city views from the double aspect windows being the end room. There was a kettle with complimentary coffee too. The en-suite shower was lovely and light, it also had shower cream and shampoo! The staff were extremely courteous. “Ein kleines wirklich wunderschönes Hotel! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, das Frühstück sehr gut und lecker! Ein Dankeschön an den lieben, hilfsbereiten Fährmann, der uns sicher über den Fluss gebracht hat. Das war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis und der kleine Nachtmarkt gegenüber sehr schön!!! “Magical Mountain was incredibly unique and absolutely beautiful! The staff was incredible and a true reflection of a beautiful Thai culture. The location was outstanding for proximity to jungle truck, tourists and kao lak. The pool was outstanding! ”

“This place is a bait for sure, looks like it’s nice, but the shower has no heat, “smart tv” doesn’t have internet lol. Crazy amount of annts anns spiders in room. Also if you’re staying here without a vehicle be very careful as there’s like no grabs or taxis in the area and you can easily get stranded.”

“Had an overnight stay at hotel due to early flight the next morning. The hotel is situated on what appears to be a backroad rural residential area although its minutes for the airport. Check-in was ok but it was obvious the hotel was empty and that they may have not been expecting my arrival. Once checked in, I was taken to my room which was nice to look at but you could tell it has not been used in a while, the towels were stiff, and bed linens needed to be tossed, the loft style room provided...

“A veces el lago tiene el agua un poco turbia para bañarse; supongo que es algo normal en un entorno natural pero me parece importante de recalcar. La comida excelente, te sirven platos típicos y contundentes. El personal muy amable y atento, además, te llevan de excursión en barco (long boat) por la zona para ver la maravilla de entorno que hay. Sin duda volvería mil veces, es un sitio muy especial. Algo a tener en cuenta muy importante es que no disponen de luz de 6am a 6pm, es decir, solo hay...

“Individual chalets with adjacent car port, suggesting this is more motel than hotel. Certainly not a 'resort'. Close to the airport but miles from anything else, just getting food delivered can be challenging. I'm sure the bed used to be a concrete tunnel support, the hardest mattress I've ever not been able to sleep on. Reception staff excellent, as is usual in Thailand.”

“The bed was comfortable, which makes such a change from 5 weeks of rock hard beds! The shower was powerful. The room was big. The public areas in the hotel were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was nice and the service good. The reception staff were lovely, all eager to practice their English. Only negative was no WiFi in the rooms only in the lobby. A tired, but nice hotel. ”
