It has been updated on the inside with a very nice and roomy bathroom and a modern kitchen. Although it is a small house, it feels large because it is open in the shared areas. “We stayed for 4 nights and were there to go shelling on Sanibel Island. The location to Lighthouse Beach was amazing. It was easy to get all around the Islands. The king bed was comfortable while the day bed is a fold away-a little insecure for an adult. We put a suitcase under it for support to make sure we didn't break it. We will return to Parrot Cottages!”

“Property was adorable, clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable, living room was great, there is a back yard table and grill. Our only issue was an unlit parking area. We did not have a vehicle and it was very dark in that area for walking thru after dark to get to our place. Several great places within a short walking distance. VRBO was great to deal with for planning our long weekend girls get-a-way for 3 generations.”

“Short drive to Vandibelt and barefoot beach. Apartment is newly renovated with modern appliances. Price is fair and great budget for long stay. Would recommend to anyone. The only small item is that there is no one onsite to check out bikes or beach chairs. No issue if you make a plan ahead of time of course. Austin is very helpful and kind. ”
