“The host was awesome, we talked for 2 hours about the history of the town and the home built in mid 1800's. The home is beautiful,very well restored. We would definitely stay again”

The owners extended gracious southern hospitality and shared history of the house and their work in restoring the it from its dilapidated state to its present beauty and charm. For us it was very convenient and restful as we were in town for a baby shower of a friend the next morning. ”

“Quiet neighborhood just down from the business district. The Congo room is akin to an efficiency hotel room. I enjoyed my stay, the room was comfortable. When I asked how late of a check-out I could arrange before going to a wedding at 6 PM, they said stay as late as I want as the room is not reserved after I leave. Won't get that kind of treatment at any chain hotel!”

“We had such a lovely visit with our hosts. The kids were fascinated by everything in the house, from games to decor, to the studies on the beds. We had such a lovely chat with our hosts. It was a shame our visit was so short.”

“We had a great experience with our stay. Parking easy with checkin and brought to room with all conveniences. The area is walkable to wonderful town and wide range of restaurants and stores. The owner made us a wonderful breakfast with various courses. Very charming home! Would recommend and definitely want to return.”

“The pictures do not accurately represent this place nor do the other reviews. There were three big issues. The first is that the beds are extremely firm, old, and uncomfortable. The second is that in one of our rooms that faced the street there were no curtains or blinds, so zero privacy. There was also a rolled up, dusty giant rug in the corner of a room. However, the worst part was that there was a horrible and extremely strong chemical perfume smell; so much so that we didn’t even stay the...
