“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. “Fabulous room, very modern with TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer - in fact everything you could possibly need. Bathroom was a 'wet room' with a super shower. Breakfast was enormous with plenty of tea or coffee. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to assist. Well worth staying here if visiting the area.”

“We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”

“We arrived late at night after leaving a hotel 15 minutes away that turned out to be dreadful. We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely stay again on our trips to visit family locally.”

“Good hotel like most of Holiday Inn Express. However this time the room was not as clean as you would expect for a +85 Pound/night hotel. The desk in the room was sticky with plenty of marks from previous guests. So was the mirror in the bathroom with written messages that showed up with the shower steam which proves the room had not been cleaned as you would expect. All rest of things were perfect. Just a cleaning issue this time. Room a bit noisy being so close to the motorway but was not a...
