Cozy cabin overlooking Dillsboro and miles of mountains

  • Inviting mountain cottage with incredible front porch view of Dillsboro and the surrounding mountains. One bed, one bath and fairly secluded, making it perfect for a couple's getaway. Located only minutes from the Tuckasegee River (excellent fly fishing spot) and the towns of Sylva and Dillsboro and all that each has to offer. Cherokee and the Harrah's Casino are only 15-20 minutes away, and opportunities for outdoor recreation can be found throughout the area and all of western North Carolina. Sylva and Dillsboro have plenty of shopping, restaurant and entertainment venues these days, and various brew pubs can be found here now. The cottage has a full kitchen, washer and dryer and wireless internet with a comfortable living room for watching TV (streaming), reading, resting or visiting.

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was as the description said, a cozy cabin with exceptional views. The kitchen was equipped with all our needs. There were clean linens available. Definitely recommend for any one/couple who needs some solace but want the convenience of not being too far from town.

It met our needs for this trip. The kitchen was well appointed and the pans were in great condition. The view was amazing. The house was clean. The walk-in shower was appreciated.

A true hidden gem! This cabin offers exquisite Mountain views, overlooking the quaint town of Dillsboro. Many hours spent on the covered porch enjoying the peaceful and tranquil surroundings . The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. If you are looking for a serene mountain retreat, with stunning views and plenty of charm, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Great little cabin in the hills. Beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning from the deck. Bed was comfy. Just as listed. Would definitely go back.

The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It is close to cute shops and restaurants and just a short drive to the casino.

Very relaxing

Enjoyed our stay very much… we were secluded without having to drive far… only thing I would suggest is a grill for the deck.

Property was neat and tidy. The small cottage had everything needed and then some for a 2 night stay with a acouple. Extras included toaster oven, board/card games, cleaning products and plenty of linens, just bring your own clothing wash. Cottage was super simple to find, secluded, yet close to and from hwy. There was another cabin right next door and one on the same short road at the entrance of the turn to the cottage. We really appreciated the covered carport to protect car from any falling debris from beautiful hardwoods surrounding the area.

Beautiful view, quiet and serene. Place is next to another house which I didn't realize, but no issues. Took a moment to find the right house, but it was also dark when I arrived. Would definitely come back.

Great view, well outfitted

Had a very pleasant stay, ultra clean place, well equipped, even has a dishwasher and all the rest. Great view of mountain valley and the burg of Dillsboro, which has several dining choices.

Great place!

Very nice cabin close to WCU. We stayed here homecoming weekend and the place was great. Very clean, very easy check-in, and the owner was very easy to communicate with and responded right away to any questions we had. We will be staying here more.

Nice Views and Convenient Location

The cabin has really nice views of the surrounding mountains and the picturesque town of Dillsboro from the deck. The area around is quiet. The cabin was clean and well furnished. It was a perfect stay for 2 at a great price.

Such a gorgeous location, it was so hard to pull myself away from that gorgeous porch view! Very convenient to WCU and going in to Sylva or Dillsboro. All the comforts of home and very quiet, peaceful surroundings.
