“Great cabin for a relaxing weekend in the woods, just a short distance from town, the lake, other activities and restaurants. It was perfect to lounge around and enjoy the scenery. Sleeping arrangements were perfect. There were definitely a few findings that could have been avoided if the cleaning crew was more diligent before we arrived. The cabin also had a low supply of towels, pots and pans which would have made our stay go more smoothly. But overall very happy with our experience!”

Typical of the houses in Tahoe-Donner in the winter, one wants to be very careful pulling out of the driveway due to cars driving reasonably fast and no visibility due to the snow banks. “The pictures don't do it justice. This is a huge home on a cul-de-sac at the top of a hill, with nothing but forest out the back window. “Enjoyed the views and slept like a rock however the stench was overwhelming even after the windows were opened. Not all homes get rented regularly (im guessing this is why) and i guess thats a blessing to have many choices however the smell of dead rodents or water damage was unfortunate.”

“We have stayed at many VRBO's and several in Tahoe Donner. This one was OK. Not terrible by any means -- and we have stayed in terrible -- but not fantastic. The biggest surprise was dealing with Vacasa. Upon arrival we reported that a rec pass was missing (which meant not everyone in our party could enjoy the amenities) and they never followed up. The next day we reported water under the kitchen sink -- again no follow up until I texted again the next day, concerned that it was perhaps a leak...
