I didn’t realize this booking was a duplex until after confirmation. Had I known before, I probably wouldn’t have booked it. The stay ended up being amazing though. Both couples we shared the house with were kind. There is no dishwasher - not a dealbreaker but would have been nice to have. The screened in porch is amazing with outdoor dining and lounging areas. The pool was nice, we didn’t use it much. Beds were comfy, house was clean and beautifully decorated. The absolute best part of this house is the location. While it’s not beachfront, you are a very short walk away from South Beach as well as the pier/shops/restaurants. If this property is available during our next spring break we would book again. My least favorite part of the house is the laundry. It’s outside in a shed at the very back of the property. You have to walk past the second tenants porch to get to it and the dryer takes a while to dry clothes and towels. I felt bad for having to keep walking by their private area to check on the laundry. I also didn’t see an outdoor light to use on the way to the shed so I had to use my cellphone flashlight.
