TybeeI have stayed at many VRBO units over the years. I do a lot of research before I make my final selection. I have rarely been disappointed and usually my choices are all close to a perfect match. This unit was as close to perfect as you can get. We had a family vacation with three young children. On our first afternoon we walked to the beach and we did not have to do anything else. Even though it was a little cool for Adult Ocean swimming the kids just jumped right in. EVERY day they insisted on going to the beach. When we were not at the beach there were so many other things to occupy the kids even if you don’t go to Savannah. AND if you are a seafood junkie you can get your fix within walking distance of the house. It was perfectly located within walking distance of the beach, shopping, restaurants and sites. There was a minor flaw. I always have problems with the TV remote. The problem was compounded by the fact that all the remotes in the house must have been on the same frequency. When someone used the remote in another room it would sometimes interfere with the other TVs. But the kids did not care as there were plenty of games and other things to do in the house. We will definitely go back.

This house was perfectly located on the island to the ocean, back bay, restaurants, shopping and piers! All within walking distance. The house itself is beautiful and the kitchen was very well stocked for our extended stay. The best VRBO we have stayed in.

House worked great for us and was in a perfect location to walk to the beach and restaurants. We sat by the community pool a couple days which was nice. Host had very good communication.

We loved this house! There were a couple small issues...the AC wasn't working when we got there...but it was repaired the next morning. Our GPS took us initially to the wrong house and then we had a little trouble getting where we needed to be, but again, the representative called us back and helped us get to the correct house.

Great place in a great location

Went to Tybee with our teenagers for a Savannah visit and beach time. Great house - big enough for everyone to hang out together, or apart. Great location - around the corner from restaurants, 5 minute walk from the beach - and South Beach is amazing! Our kids also loved the pool, which is only 2 blocks away. And the game space downstairs was great (especially when Mom and Dad wanted to go to bed!).One suggestion - we flew from across the country and did not bring beach chairs or towels. The house has 2 small beach chairs and no beach towels or umbrella for guests. That would have been a nice touch, especially for guests coming from a long way away.....All that being said, we hope to return!

Not quite what we were expecting

This was our first time to Tybee island and BMH was fine. I should have read the description better. The pool is only available from 10-5pm and you have to walk to get to it. We rented this as our family of four beach vacation and I was looking forward to my boys being able to swim in the pool in the early morning and evenings. I also assumed a three minute walk would be to the part of the island you can swim at. It’s more of a seven to ten minute walk to the beach where you can swim. (3 mins to the back river.) The house was fine for our needs but I won’t be staying here again. It was more beat up than the pictures show. A lot of ant hills along the outside/ wiped away many inside the house. I would not recommend using the outdoor shower with littles as it was to buggy/overgrown to get too. If I was taking a vkay with friends this would be fine. I don’t recommend for a family with small children.

Beautiful house inside ; not as nice outside

The house was absolutely gorgeous inside. Well stocked and very clean. Was disappointed when walked up to the house and saw the downstairs which seemed alot darker and not as clean than the pictures and rotten wood on the exterior but once I walked inside, I was relieved.

Terrific Tybee Island Stay

Our daughter, her husband and their 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son stayed with us for a week at your beautiful property.The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs worked well. The main kitchen, living room, bonus room , and dining area were perfect and where we spent most of our time when we were not on the beautiful nearby beaches. The ping pong table and games area at the entry way served as a place for the kids to play.We accessed 2 different beaches easily as both were just blocks away.We never used our cars for the 2 nights we ate out, because both places were just steps away.We definitely will be returning. The pool is also just steps away, it was also clean and close to the house.

Great location and access to everything .

Check in was easy . Had 0 issues. Great location. It rained during part of the stay and the downstairs area came in clutch and allowed the fun to continue during that down time . 2 blocks from everything .

Amazing House!

We’re a group of 6 friends, empty-nesters, that wanted to explore Tybee and the surrounding areas. We were lucky to book this house and it was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t that great for our week stay but we didn’t mind as we had such a great space to hang out. Highly recommend this property. The management company is extremely responsive and we were very happy with our stay.

My family and I used this location as a place to meet up and gather. The house was a perfect size for our group, and the 3 bathrooms were a plus! Great communication and a nice binder was left out with recommendations.
