The property was a bit dated on the inside but it still had all the amenities. With it's proximity to the beach and the location within walking distance of the pier, the price can't be beat.

The property owner uses a management company, Southern Belle, to handle rentals. Southern Belle was great to work with. The house was in great shape and we had no problems whatsoever. The Big Tybreezy lived up to its VRBO reviews. I would definitely book it again.

The Host was very helpful and kept me informed from the beginning of the process and throughout my stay. The house is lovely and provided a comfortable space for me and my family. The only issue was the lack of water pressure in the kitchen sink. Not extremely hot either so washing dishes was a chore. It seemed to affect the dishwasher also. Thanks for letting us use your home.

We loved this location. It was beautiful and perfect for a girls weekend. The rooms and setup was exactly as described in the listing. The comman areas were even more beautiful than the listing described. It is literally 3 houses from beach access. We walked to the market just a block away. We also walked 2 miles to the light house, and we walked about 1 mile to a location where there were cute shops and restaurants. We loved it!

Island Living

This place really gave us a chance to embrace the laid back vibe of Tybee - lots of different places to gather, plenty of places to sit and relax, good entertainment options, comfy beds, and ample space. Could have used more beach towels (only 5 in the house), but we enjoyed the beach supplies that were on hand so we didn't have to waste money buying our own. Had a great time and would definitely come back!

Tybreezy - Highly Recommend

The Tybreezy did not disappoint. The house was clean, spacious and fully stocked. Even the checkin process was super easy. We loved how close to the beach and shops we were located. We highly recommend this house and will definitely be back in the future…

Tybee Fun

The Big Tybreezy was the perfect basecamp for 3 teen boys and their moms. We had plenty of space for everyone and the home is super well stocked (lots of TP, coffee, beach towels, beach chairs, coozies, zip lock bags, trash bags, salt/pepper, etc)! The basement arcade and outdoor spaces with ping pong/foosball became the teen hangout so us adults could have the upstairs areas. Thanks for a great time!

Girls week away.

The house, location and beach were amazing. We were there through Hurricane Helene. The only complaint we had was there were no flash lights or candles or communication about what we should do to get flash lights since everything was closed. The lights were out for 30+ hrs. It would have been nice to have all of that ready.

Fabulous

We’ve stayed on Tybee annually for 10 years and this house was the best yet. So close to the beach and great mid island location. The shower rooms were the perfect answer to avoid tracking sand all through the house. The kitchen was well equipped for breakfast and dinner in with the family. All of the furniture was super comfortable. We had a couple minor issues that were quickly addressed by management. This is a place we would stay over and over.

Super location land lots of space

This house was just steps from the beach! It was spacious for our family gathering for a thanksgiving. The kitchen was large but the supply of cooking items/utensils was lacking. Might be that things get taken by other guests. But the layout and appliances were perfect. The home was spacious and the outside areas (porches) were great! We had a problem with a tv not working and the property manager responded quickly and was very nice about coming over to handle the problem (which just turned out to be dead batteries in the remote). I would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental to others.

Girls Trip

We stayed here for our annual girls trip. Was a great place and we were able to walk to the beach and to town. Perfect location. The house was great for the 10 of us and we were very comfortable. Alexi was super friendly and very quick to respond.

The Photos Don't Do This Property Justice

Our family has been visiting Tybee every Labor Day for the past few years. This year we had an entire week and chose Casa de Playa for our stay. The house was absolutely perfect. Our stay coincided with the arrival of Hurricane Idalia. We decided to ride out the storm at the property, and the owner made sure that we had flashlights and water "just in case" (she also assured us that the property was well-protected by the dunes and was not prone to flooding). The house is solidly built and didn't even creak during the 60-mph winds that occurred at the height of the storm. The house is well-appointed: the ice maker provided as much ice as we ever needed, the screen porch was a comfortable place to relax, the beds slept wonderfully, and we had no problem streaming the opening UGA football game. There were enough beach chairs and other beach stuff; a wagon, skim/boogie boards, floats, coolers, etc. that we really didn't have to use the beach stuff we brought. The only two issues we had were: 1. The main floor was at times very chilly and we had no way to moderate the temperature because the thermostats are locked, which we totally understand. 2. We never could get hot water in the kitchen sink. We would (and will) definitely rent this property again in the future.

Great week of adventures and relaxation!

Beautiful house, spacious living areas, big table for board games. We loved the built in ice machine! Enjoyed the closed in porch. An easy 3 minute walk to beach, easy access to grocery store. Loved the personal recommendations from the owners of where to eat and what to see. So much wildlife observed. Helped guide newly hatched sea turtles to the ocean with certified guides and watched dolphins everyday! It was a great week. Would recommend and visit again!! Thank you!

Great house near the beach.

Great house for a family vacation. For some of our grandkids it was their first time to the ocean and they loved it. Did the local dolphin tour too. Short walk to the beach (5th house from the beach). If you like to grill you may want to bring extra utensils and a meat thermometer. Had the basics but you might prefer your own.

Perfect spot for our family beach vacation!

This house was perfect for our needs. Six adults and two kids had plenty of room to spread out, but we were also able to easily gather at the dining room table, in the living room, or outside on the screened-in porch. The house is very conveniently located for the beach and to several restaurants in town. The owners were responsive to all our questions in a very timely manner, and their instructions and suggestions were very helpful! The house had everything we needed, from cooking equipment to beach chairs and more (we especially appreciated the rolling cart to carry bags, toys, chairs, and an umbrella). My whole family agreed that we had picked the perfect house! Thank you for making our stay awesome and memorable!!!
