“An exceptional BnB with terrific hosts, wonderful home cooked breakfasts and a beautiful, artful home. Would come back here any time!”

“Este B&B ha sido el mejor de todos en los que nos hemos quedado. Los anfitriones son cálidos, una extraodinaria calidad en el desayuno casero que elllos preparan ,la habitación comoda, limpia ,amplia, rodeados por objetos del siglo pasado y flores frescas del jardin.Disfrutamos mucho la estancia ,muy recomendable. ”

“We had a great 2 night stay in late March. The place is close to the Acadia campus to visit our daughter and close to the downtown core for easy strolls. We enjoyed the large hot tub and never lacked for hot water. We had some cold mornings and the small electric fireplace quickly took out the chill. Highly recommend!”

“Everything was great except having to book breakfast the night before. Would of liked to have the option to order breakfast in the morning.”

“This place is in a great location and is nice and big. The room was cold at first but heated quickly and I liked that it was non-contact for check-in. The best part is that this was the only place we stayed in for over a week that had a smart TV. This makes a big difference to be able to watch our Netflix shows at the end of a long day!”

“This was our 2nd stay which we greatly enjoyed. Great property with close proximity to Wolfville and ACADIA university.”

“The country suite of the Gingerbread House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A nice walk into town for good food (definitely try Paddy's pub) and a patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking the amazing trails the Bay of Fundy has to offer. Wish we had time to take advantage of the fireplace area. The only issue which could be easily remedied are the pillows which were as thin as could be. I'd definitely bring my own. Other than that a great place!!”

“The breakfast that was offered for purchase was exceptional.”

“Very nice place. Good breakfast. Excellent personal ”

“The house and room were clean. A good breakfast was served.”

“Fantastic stay! First time in the area. Hosts were very attentive and hospitable. Will definitely stay here on my next trip back in the spring. Highly recommended!”

“The owner Sam and his wife were great! I came to visit Nova Scotia from California, and they made me feel at home! The Bed and Breakfast was nice, and had wondrous views! It was nice chatting with Sam every morning during breakfast! Wonderful people! My room was very comfortable, and I was well rested! Thank you!”

“A very enjoyable stay at The Fourth Lock. It was a great location for exploring the area and has a really good restaurant on site. We were made very welcome and Jay could not have been more helpful. There are only 3 rooms, ours had access to a balcony with a view of the lake. Breakfast is provided as self-serve with a good selection of cereal bars, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices and best of all, home made muffins :-) Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the shared cosy lounge, which...
