If felt like home, only decorated better with comfort in mind. Even the laundry room has a nice sitting room with a television and bathroom while waiting for the laundry to finish its cycles, but it is also lovely to sit outside in a variety of spots. “The Hummingbird Cottage was a very pleasant and peaceful retreat in Ivanhoe agricultural territory. It is close to Visalia, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Their hiking trail around the orange orchards and Sycamore trees was a short but enjoyable walk. Of course the highlight was the hummingbirds flying from nearby trees to the feeders! The host was very attentive to our requests and there were plenty of sleeping options in the cottage. Very charming!”
