“The name might suggest a house full of skylights (spoiler: there aren’t any), it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us.The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped—we were able to prepare and enjoy multiple sit-down dinners for 17 people using both the kitchen and the adjacent dining area.The great room is a fantastic space for adults to relax, featuring a cozy fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. “OK, I love Vermont, so maybe I'm a little biased on the subject. But Blue Jay's Blue Chalet was exactly what my wife and I needed for a getaway with our pups.We loved the setting! Being able to sit on the deck and hear the birds and the river is incredibly relaxing, and it feels very private. “Relaxing VT stay . You are in a rural setting but places to stock up on supplies was less then 10 miniutes away . We watched the fireworks that stratton displayed pretty much from the comfort of the property .Our children are young adults and they had a blast finding local swimholes . As well as spending a day at Bromley Mountain ( 20 mins away ) where they did water slides , alpine slides , the giant swing to name a few . House is large and the ability to accomodate large families or groups ....
