However if you are 4, and have a lot of luggage, it could feel a bit cramped. We had an heat wave for a few days, getting 38°C at the highest. The listing photos are misleading: what is shown as a bed is a sofa that you pull out and make up yourself on arrival and whenever you want to sit on the sofa. On arrival, that sofa — the only bed — was dirty, covered in dust, debris, and hair. I reported it the same day, with photos. “Only a block from the Seine! The small room was clean although the carpet under the bed was fairly dingy. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. It was a hot July week in Paris; no AC but a strong fan was provided. Travellers need to know that the room is 4 floors up a semi-spiral staircase and there is no elevator. Carrying suitcases up and down was awkward, tho' I considered it daily exercise. Unfortunately, my plane got in at 6am and instruction from the host informed that room access...

“La vista della camera è veramente fantastica. nonostante ciò in camera faceva caldissimo e il condizionatore non era sufficiente per rinfrescarla (oltre che ad essere pieno di polvere nel filtro). in doccia non c’è il sapone. inoltre siamo arrivati alla camera alle 15:40 e le pulizie non erano ancora iniziate, infatti siamo entrati in camera alle 16:40 al posto che alle 16. Per il resto è ben fornita (asciugacapelli e utensili per cucinare) e la posizione è comoda.”

“Nice, clean apartment in an excellent location. After hours check in charges are steep. Internet did not work for 5 of our 7 day stay. Host was non-responsive through WhatsApp, which they had told us to use to communicate problems. Communication of the issue through Expedia was slow and did not resolve the issue. We had expected/needed internet access for work during the trip and were disappointed to have to search for that access off premises.”
