Although it was a self check in, Mo (the owner) messaged us regularly to ensure we were having a comfortable stay which was very reassuring. “Great location to explore Skye. Views from the cottage were spectacular, was nice to have two sitting areas from which to enjoy them. House is very well equipped with everything we could’ve needed especially in the kitchen. Bedrooms well furnished too and very comfortable, blackout blinds were perfect for the early morning sun and having three bathrooms was a treat. Beds were comfy too. Our first visit to Skye and it didn’t disappoint!”

“You really feel like you are staying in Inverness at this house. A hotel could look and feel the same anywhere but this place has personality. The kitchen is adequate for the little cooking we did. The sunroom was wonderful. Sitting in the room with the rain sounded magical. The parking is tight but it is off street which is nice. The bathrooms and showers are nice. “We absolutely loved staying here. The house had everything we needed, stunning views and good location to get to the walks and sites we wanted to see. Great for small children with a cot and high chair available, even a stair gate at the top of stairs was very helpful! Everything clean and very comfortable for our 5 night stay. “We stayed in the Isle of Skye for 3 nights and Annie’s place was perfect. So beautiful and homey we immediately felt comfortable. The amenities for a family of four were certainly adequate and the grocery store was a 2 minute walk down the hill. We wanted or needed nothing else for a great stay. The view from the sitting room and primary bedroom were superb. Annie was very responsive to any questions. Everyone we met while there was so friendly. Highly recommended this venue. “Overall, the stay was great! The house was big and the host provided a lot of extra niceties. The only problem we had was inconsistent internet and wifi, but that is to be expected with a rural property. We also found the front door difficult to lock, although as Americans, we may have just not understood how the lock worked.”

Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...
