Fantastic Property

On Mountain Time is one of the best rental properties we’ve visited. There is so much to do that you almost don’t need to leave. We spent much of our time chilling at the house and the kids had plenty to do. They’ve really put a lot of thought into all the details. It’s very comfortable, well maintained, and feels private although there are other properties close by. The view is mostly trees and is very pretty and has a little mountain view from the high balcony. There are lots of stairs and the parking area is gravel if you have accessibility issues. The driveway is very steep but we did not have any problems. We especially enjoyed the game room, fire pit, and hot tub. The hosts were great and accommodating. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great stay On Mountain Time

Everything was as described and the host was very informative of everything from the time we booked our trip. We were close to everything that everyone wanted to do. The cabin was very beautiful and very clean. Needless to say we will definitely love to stay On Mountain Time again. Thank you for everything and 5 stars all around.

Everything one could want was at the cabin Nice touch : Keurig with dozens of coffee pod selections (I brought my own Starbucks Sumatra but still nice other options offered ) Nice touch : Netflix & YouTube TV streaming services available without using my own log in --super easy Overall -- if ever in the area again would rent this cabin without hesitation

On Mountain Time

What an appropriate name for such a wonderful place. My husband and I spent the week with our two goldens and couldn’t say enough great things about this property or the host! If you have a dog this is it! We were able to sit on the patio and relax knowing the dogs were gated in with us. The house is conveniently located between lots of wonderful little towns that have different dog friendly places. As for the home itself we were welcomed with a small basket with candy and popcorn. The living room/Kitchen opens onto the patio where you can close the screen and enjoy the fresh air. The upstairs master has plenty of space to make yourself at home. Our favorite part is the small balcony off that you can wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee with the sun rising or sit at night with a warm drink watching the night sky. There is a pool table downstairs and a game room that we did not take advantage of, due to our daily town exploring and being glued to porch sitting. We did take advantage of the small trail located behind the house that the dogs loved to explore. Truly thank you to the host for sharing such a wonderful place with the world. We can’t wait to come back.

On Mountain Time is the BEST time!

Nicely located to nearby trails, whitewater, tubing and numerous charming towns, this mountain house is both a great jumping off point for all the outdoor activities this beautiful part of the world offers, as well as every amenity for those wishing to sleep in, laze about, snuggle in or spend quality time with family/friends. The hosts were great communicators and have thought of everything. To say that the separate gameroom and downstairs pool table was a hit with our 8 year old grandson would be the understatement of the year. To say that our every need for a comfortable stay had been thought of and planned for by the host would also be an huge understatement. This house and these hosts have my highest recommendation.

great family trip

Very nice cabin on top of the mountain, we had 4 people (2 parents and 2 kids) but we could have easily fit another family. House had a lot of amenities for the kids to do, (private game room) The wife and i enjoyed the upper deck off of the master to relax and watch the sunset. we where about 1 hour from Gatlinburg and also Ashville, and just down the street from Bryson City, which is worth checking out. The drive between the cabin and Gatlinburg is absolutely beautiful (441) The wifi worked great and my wife and i had no problems checking our emails in the morning. i would definitely recommend this cabin for a nice getaway or a family trip.

Loved the cabin!

Perfect place for friends and family. We stayed just one night to go to the Polar Express. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and game room! Everything was great and we really appreciated the lights lining the stairway outside for unloading safely. The living area fit all 8 of us and the table was large enough as well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful cabin close to everything!

What a gem! On Mountain Time is a gorgeous cabin with beautiful views and a short drive to numerous area attractions. I can't say enough about how great the property managers were, they were very responsive and accommodating. To begin, I was genuinely impressed with how clean this cabin was when we arrived. It was helpful to have all of the light switches labeled, attention to small details like that are noticeable all over this cabin and appreciated. The appliances were all modern and bedrooms were all clean and comfortable. Amenities were great, I loved having the Keurig and K-cups each morning. The game shed was a blast! I should have looked up the rules to shuffleboard but we came up with our own and had a lot of fun. Also we discovered one of us (not me) is apparently a Ms. Pac Man guru. The pool table was a lot of fun and in great shape also. In-between gaming sessions we relaxed in the big hot tub, a small issue was resolved when I reached out to the property manager and she replied very quickly with comprehensive instructions. It turned out it was just a setting that took 5 seconds to adjust, so we were back relaxing in no time. Harrah's at Cherokee, Bryson City, and Sylva are all short drives. For nature lovers, Deep Creek trailhead is close, easy to walk, and features beautiful waterfalls. 5-star stay! Our only issue is that we realized we should have booked a full week to take full advantage of everything to do at the cabin and in the area. Next time!
