We love staying here and have stayed here one other time. However, this time there was a management company in charge of the cleaning and communication for the property, instead of the owner. The cabin felt much more run down and overlooked than it did during our previous visit. Some examples: there was a hole in the dry wall right when you walked in the front door, a missing towel bar in the bathroom, lots of leaves in the gutters of the home, torn/incomplete blinds in the kitchen, and depleted snacks (that were promised in the description) and kitchen necessities (which we had to purchase). We also didn't realize until check in that we were responsible for filling up the two empty propane tanks that were left for us. When we inquired, we were told that this notification was in the listing; however, if this is the way the property rental is going to work, it should be in the upfront description rather than a notification upon arrival based on the remoteness of the location. We received two duplicate emails from the property management company whenever they communicated with us and overall it just wasn't as put together as it had been previously. You could tell that when the owner ran things, the place was not only in better condition but it was well stocked with necessities and provided a more welcoming and comfortable stay.
