“This house was really special and lovely, the location hard to beat. You could easily get to grocery stores and local places we've loved for years, or trot down to Burlington or Waterbury. The water was rare as it's a silt bottom (rather than rocks), and very shallow. Great for little kids, or if you want to walk far out and watch the sunset. The kayaks were wonderful to use to go along the coast on calm mornings. So grateful we were able to make more memories here!”

“A lovely, quiet, peaceful setting with gorgeous, well-kept grounds. Our cottage was very comfortable and conveniently located with easy access to the town of Vergennes.”

“Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! ”

“Loved this little beach cottage. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Great location. We were there for UVM graduation and it was 15 min away from just about everywhere we wanted to be! Beds were really comfy. Only thing is the bathroom and shower are tiny - so if you are a larger human, this might be an issue. Otherwise loved it.”

“Our host Peter was very friendly and I got to meet his friendly dog, Lenny. The little red cabin was very cozy. The accomodations provided everything we needed. If we are ever up near Stowe again, we would certainly stay again. ”

“Enjoyed are stay at the camp. The outside flowers, bird feeders and deck were peaceful. Had fun watching the birds feed and the chipmunks and squirrels trying to get to the feeders.Our property manager/owner was very good at communicating with us.The only detriment was the beach. Due to the spring thaw and flooding there was numerous amount of driftwood in the sand near shore; which made it difficult for wading. I was told by a couple of locals this was due to the rivers that flow into the lake....

“The cottage was just as described with the added bonus of a full kitchen albeit with out a dishwasher. The bagel toaster more than made up for that! We were here for a family wedding and it was great to come back to the lake for the peace and quiet!”

“The cottage was exactly as advertised - clean and tidy, nicely decorated, right on the lake, with small but functional kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, good AC, plenty of extra linens and towels and a beautiful view of the bay and marina. As others have mentioned, the property sits on a busy road, but because it is set back down a slope and partially fenced, feels quiet and safe. “ We had a very pleasant stay! The house is bright, open, airy, very clean and comfy! The kitchen was well equipped and had ample counter space. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms looked new. The photos are accurate. The house is located in a quiet spot in the woods up a steep dirt road. We heard a lot birds in the morning and saw a black bear. The location is convenient to Waterbury and Stowe. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking in the area. Tom replied...
