“Excellent place to stay right on the VA Creeper Trail. There is as much peace and quiet on top of this mountain as you can find anywhere on the planet. We saw the Milky Way stretch all the way across the sky. There are thousands more stars visible at night with no light noise to interfere. Everything we needed for our stay was nicely provided. Owner communicated excellently. Would recommend you book it now if your dates are available.”

“The apartment was so cozy and inviting! Our time spent in West Jefferson was relaxing and fun! Jim and Kathy were perfect hosts. The space is beautiful, very clean and full of surprises. We especially loved being able to stay in and prepare a couple of meals and not have to go out. The pantry was well stocked with anything we could have needed. “Nice sized lodge for family gathering. Plenty of room, great sitting area on front porch. Nicely planted flower beds around lodge, attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Only the most basic amenities provided. I definitely would recommend using a 4-wheel drive to access the property. Any vehicle low to the ground could bottom out.”
