Had our whole family out to enjoy the weekend. We relaxed by the pool, enjoyed tons of games around the property and explored the town of Wimberley. Property is extremely close to the town and easily accessible. The game room was amazing. Hosts are always available. Great property!

What a great idea to throw my own birthday party! I invited the family and enjoyed pretending it was my home and property. The view was outstanding with plenty of room to play and toys to play with! We took advantage of the hot tub and pool. It felt like sleeping in treehouse! Attention to detail was evident throughout both houses.

This house has everything for a family or group of friends! We celebrated a birthday and enjoyed everything the property offerered, including the heated pool on a chilly January weekend. The property owners were wonderful to work with and accommodating for our group's needs. We can't wait to visit again and stay longer.

This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our large family gathering. There was plenty of room for the 16 of us and with two separate houses, you could always find a quiet spot for work or relaxing and always plenty of fun spots with the large game room which was a hit with all ages and the outdoor pool and hot tub. We enjoyed several outings to nearby shops, restaurants and parks, but we could have just stayed on the property and had a great time taking advantage of all it had to offer. We rent large homes every Christmas/New Years in different cities around the country and in Mexico for all our children and grandchildren and this was a favorite. The hosts are fantastic - going way out of their way to decorate and have gifts when we arrived on Christmas day - answering any questions immediately and suggesting services such as a masseuse to come to the house for massages! There isn't a thing I would change. We hope to return another year. Thank you Mitch and Robin!

Had a blast at this property. Both the adults and kids had an amazing time. Between the two houses, there was plenty of room to lodge and plenty of space for food and drinks. This property had amazing views. Robin was in contact when needed and was very responsive. Very organized and felt welcomed since the booking. This is an easy 5-star experience.

This was the perfect spot for a reunion of 7 siblings and their significant others from Texas and California who haven’t been together in one spot for years. There was plenty of things to do on-site and within a short drive. The size of the retreat houses made it easy to hang together and have alone time too. Just what we needed. Thank you.

We loved that the property had two separate homes. Each had kitchens and a game room. Questions to Mitch and Robin were answered quickly. The kitchens were well-stocked. There was plenty of space for all of us. The only challenge for us was trying to figure out who slept where because there is only one bathroom for three bedrooms to share upstairs in one of the houses, and only one bathroom for upstairs and downstairs bedrooms to share in half of the other. We loved our time here. The views were peaceful and the heated pool and hot tub were hits. We’d absolutely go again, particularly in the Spring when it’s warm enough to explore more outside.

The place was beautiful and perfect for a 4 family reunion of Marines. Mitch and Robin were great from beginning to end. They were extremely responsive and accommodating before and during our stay. We loved staying here. Both houses were spotless and very well stocked. Pool and spa were clean and stayed that way. All of the entertainment features and equipment were well maintained. There were more amenities than we have seen in other places. Mitch answered every question immediately and we are planning on returning next summer!

All aspects of the property were as described, comfortable, and well equipped. Our group of 8 adults and 10 kids (5-12 yo) enjoyed our time immensely. We will likely be back in the warmer months to make more use of the pool and outdoor bar area.

We were having our daughters wedding in Driftwood and this was the perfect place for us to stay! So much room to spread out and relax. Appointed with everything you need and more. Beautiful views several places to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail. Throw a few handfuls of corn out and watch the deer gather! Owners were a pleasure to deal with and know the area well, so use their knowledge to enjoy the surrounding hot spots. Would love to come back!

House and Lodge - 5 Star Septic and Sulfur Water smells - 1 Star Privacy Issues - 3 Star Overall the property is very nicely laid out and was clean and nice for a large group. Wasn't ok with people living in a small shack close by that we felt was our babysitter watching us. Signage to find house needed as it is not clearly marked, The septic system sits right between the pool and game room so you will get the smells occasionally from the septic tank. Water is well water which has the sulfur/rotten egg smell. The owner does need to keep the rentors current on any burn bans or county restrictions before check in. I would recommend this property once the water and septic is corrected.
