Wow! The place was better than expected! So clean, everything you need is already there with room to bring your own items, and the bedroom set-ups are wonderful! We loved the view, the quiet location and watching the stars from the hot tub. The WiFI was very weak and cell service was SOS only for T-Mobile users. There is a wedding venue next door and had no activity while we were there so was not a problem, but I imagine would be if using the house and not part of the event. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: Great house for 3 singles or 3 couples (or a mix) who prefer private bathrooms. Great views of Hill Country, but close to Wimberley. Would recommend to family & friends, will include in “Return” list.Details: Our visit included 3 sisters, ages 65-70, from Houston, Austin & Kerrville. Open concept kitchen, dining & living area were great for cooking, working on CMas crafts, watching movies & general visiting. We each enjoyed retiring to our own bedroom/bath suites for the nights (third bathroom also opens to hall if more than 6 guests). We enjoyed sitting on porch taking in beautiful views (rocking chairs were very comfortable). We were disappointed that we weren’t limber & tall enough (5’-5’3”) to use rock stairs to get down to creek & explore caves, but we enjoyed walk around property instead. We all noted beds & pillows were a bit tired; at a minimum, mattresses should be flipped & turned, new pillows would be good addition. Also worth noting is small church with pavilion next door, but we did not see any major activity there Saturday or Sunday (gone for breakfast in Wimberley Sunday am from about 10:00-12:30 and all was quiet before & after). We appreciated all the open counter space & tabletops (so many houses have too much clutter on surfaces where you need to put your own stuff), as well as ceiling lights & lamps (lots of houses don’t provide enough lights). Overall, great house for visiting with family/friends and/or enjoying trip to Wimberley.

Great setup. Especially nice to have en-suite bathrooms for all 3 bedrooms. Great firepit/patio area. Very clean, equipped with everything we needed. One suggestion - specify Keurig coffee maker in the house amenities. We brought coffee and filters for a traditional coffee maker. Would have been easy to bring k-cups had we known!

Unfortunately, there was a burn ban due to drought. We were really looking forward to chilling at the firepit. The hot tub still did the job! In the area for Formula 1, so this place served as a great getaway from the bustle at the track.

We loved our time at this property. Very very clean, had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and the approach to the house with the wedding chapel next door was a pleasant surprise! The beds were all very comfortable, my friends and I all slept like babies. I would stay here again!

Property was beautiful and had a great location. It was not mowed and weeds were high. Weeds over a foot high on steps down to fire pit uncomfortable with children. Opened toiletries in master bathroom left in window from previous guests. Shower in master not clean. Hot tub and grill were broken but company let us know after booking and took care of it best they could. Floor not visibly unclean but left feet black if you walked bare footed. Loved property location to town. Would stay again if cleaned and mowed.

Overview

Didn’t feel like the description was accurate. Very hard to get to the “creeks”. The creeks are more like a river bed. Grass was not mowed so the yard was hard to enjoy. If you want to stay inside it is very spacious and nice. Wish the floors were a little more deep cleaned as we had littles.

step away from it all

WE LOVE THE PROPERTY!everything was great!I know you have hard water but the main master with the stone bathroom tile really needed to be cleaned and there was a ball of hair in the drain. the bathroom sink drains very slowly. all can be fixed!!everything was very well appointed and I had everything I needed to cook for my family. it is extremely peaceful and relaxing!we will be back!

The property itself is nice and we made the most of it. The 2 creeks are dry there were 2 large puddles in it that we explored. I know it has been a dry couple of years though. There is a wedding venue nearby and as we were down at the creek exploring the 1st day about 8 people from the venue were in the backyard and carport area as I trek up to see what is happening they did head back to the venue before I got there. So don’t know what that was about. The house it self was quaint. Although the water pressure in the showers was low especially the tub shower. The bedding in the master bedroom was very old and worn (torn), as well as the bathroom sink rug. Hard water buildup on most faucets and hot tub. Cleanliness was mediocre just like a pick up and wipe down before next guests arrive feel. The dishes were dirty but the guests are responsible for doing dishes in the defense of the listing. Overall not worth the money but like I said we made the most of it.
