This was a long overdue weekend with longtime friends! 3 couples who have been friends for over 30 years getting to spend time laughing, eating and sharing memories. The house was wonderful and the property beautiful. Only downside was that we finally had a cold Texas weekend and were so looking forward to sitting around the fire pit but there was a burn ban…. Not the hosts fault! We would definitely book again!

Loved the Swimming Pool

Our family really enjoyed this house! Parents3 young boysgrandpa loved how quiet the property was, sitting on the massive porch/patio was great for keeping shade while watching the kids swim, and the boys loved watching movies outside, and of course we loved the deer. Unfortunately, the river was unswimmable so the pool was a great addition, but we did enjoy a walk along the river. It was also nice to have cornhole, washers, horseshoes, and some indoor games to play. The interior of the home was very spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed, WiFi worked just fine. We also loved the location, being close to both Wimberley and Blanco. Would love to stay again!

Amazing Experience

Not only was this property beautifully, remodeled, clean and absolutely perfect for hanging out with family, but the owners went above and beyond to make it welcoming with little touches! We were here for the solar eclipse, and they even left us a solar eclipse care package! They let us know that there had been some recent remodeling work done in response to a flood the month before. It was apparent they moved heaven and earth to make sure the property was ready and beautiful in time for our stay! Our whole group was raving about the experience. I would go out of my way to travel to the Texas Hill Country to stay here again!

The pictures don't do it justice.

We spent an amazing Thanksgiving vacation at the Barndo and from the moment we walked in we were blown away. The place looked brand new, everything was spotless and lived up to every picture. The outside areas were beautiful, lots of deer on the back lawn every morning and night. Plenty of space for our adults, teens, and kiddos to relax and enjoy our time. Hope we can find time for another visit.

Ladybugs Family Reunion

Our family of 5 ladies rented this amazing house for 3 nights. We really enjoyed ourselves. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of room for us. The kitchen is gorgeous We would love to return. The back porch is fabulous ❤️❤️

Amazing Stay in Wimberley

This property was absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful time with family and friends. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean, well decorated, had everything we needed and plenty of room to enjoy the inside and outside of the entire property. Watching the stars at night was fun. We also watched the eclipse from the backyard. We will for sure rent the property again.

A Great Getaway Location

I cannot speak highly enough about the Barndo on the Blanco. We had a group of 10 adults spend the weekend at this home, and it was really a wonderful trip. Everything is immaculately well-maintained. The house is beautiful and spacious enough for large families to spread out and relax. The outside space is great for games and activities and I appreciated how isolated we were from the adjacent properties.

Wonderful Getaway Home

What a beautiful and well designed home on a great piece of property. Had a wonderful getaway with the family and look forward to going again in the future. The only issue for us was all the scorpions 😬.By the end of our stay several had made it into the house and made everyone a little uneasy. Other than that, we were all amazed at the interior design and the location of the home. Thank you for the experience.
