“The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. ”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate. In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire!”

“I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

“The staff were very welcoming, helpful and interacted with customers warmly, we were watching while having a drink and meal in the bar as well as our own experience. The room looked liked it had been redecorated fairly recently and was clean. Two tower fans were provided which helped as the sun shone into our room in the day. “My stay at Horsley Lodge was fantastic. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the staff were outstanding . I stayed in the Barn cottage and I cannot recommend it highly enough, the same goes for the food that comes out of their kitchen. I have already started to recommend Horsley Lodge to my friends and family.”
