“After spending some days in Hong Kong and Taipei, it felt wonderful to stay at Butchards Villa, so quiet and beautiful. It is really an oasis. We were welcomed by Melissa the receptionist, she was so sweet, we were offered fruit, waffles and coffee free of charge. Our room was very big, nice bath, overlooking the front off the hotel. Strongly recommend this room! We had dinner at the hotel, food was also good.Since we had some trouble with a wrong booking after our visit in the Sun Moon Lake...

“Had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the bus terminal. I loved the sophisticated, original decor and the welcoming atmosphere.
