My stay was quite relaxing. The atmosphere was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and reliable. The view was breathtaking.

When I got to check in on Saturday the service received by the receptionist was great. It just got worse from there, no information on WiFi. It was raining heavily, if you have bags to carry you can literally slip and fall. The portion size for the breakfast, just forget it. It's very small and not worth it. Rooms not sound proof you can hear everything outside and vice versa.

Breakfast was excellent. It was a bit late opening one day but it was still good. Older property but excellent view. Location is up on a hill so this needs to be taken into account depending on where you'll need to go and how frequently you'll be going to and from the hotel daily during your stay.

The room needed to be updated and fixed the holes in the closet the back door lock was messes up and breakfast was late staff was not helpful.

The rooms was clean but the bed sheets was looking dingy and had a cigarette hole on it, the rags and towel was dingy looking, toilet would not flush, and they had a very bad smell coming in from the toilet, breakfast was very good and this also has a very good view of the city

My experience was really awful. My toilet wasn't working the entire time (3nights) even if I informed the front desk. I didn't sleep for 2 nights as there was a party that was going on until +9:30am Staff also wasn't too friendly as I asked to advise the people to turn down their music on the 3rd night she had an attitude and still went but I wouldn't recommend the place. Breakfast also not good at all and very small portions. I contacted the manager to get compensated and they brushed off the request saying they were not aware of the loud music and that no one complained. I'm not a picky person but this experience was really bad

This place is where people pay nightly to come with women or men. It’s a motel. They have a $300 TT pass for the day and the building was terrible the facility the whole surround in everything is terrible is degrading. I believe that Expedia shall not entertain the Alecia‘s palace anymore. It’s false advertisement. It’s not up to the standard at least for me. I like standard like where I’m staying in book reef right now where I’m gonna stay in the Hyatt K-pop hotel that kind of standard it’s not for people of integrity.

Towels and sheets weren’t clean, door wouldn’t lock, had to change rooms. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Bedroom Floors were dirty. Breakfast was good. Beautiful view.

In terms of pricing sure book it since it is so cheap. However keep in mind that you pay for what you get. Most staff was very in welcoming. When arrived they gave no information about the property at all. Keep in mind that the property is very far from the main road so you can walk but it is very time consuming and tiring. The shuttle is a great perk for this but it is unreliable

Remote, inaccessible location. Don't be deceived by the internet re: distance to amenities. You'll be dependent on taxis for every departure from the premises. Late night outings expose you to risky returns in a largely desolate, hilly and bushy locality. If you don't have a car, return home will be a challenge. Never opt for breakfast here - except you love tinned sausages. Horrible service. Ever heard of rooms being cleaned only if you ask? I was shocked when told. Yet, cockroaches roam freely. The premises has no information leaflets to guide tourists. I won't recommend this place to anyone

Two main problems. 1. The supposed facilities did not exist. No bar. Only 1 out of 3 pools. No gift shop. No spa services. In 5 days the room was not cleaned once! A shuttle service to the airport that wasn’t available despite requesting in advance as required. 2. Reception staff that gave the impression that they just didn’t want us there. Or to be there themselves. Trinidad and the people were wonderful but they were the exception

Do not recommend. When we arrived the man was rude took us to 2 rooms that had no sheets or pillows. The rooms had a funny smell. The 3rd room was better but not good had sheets fridge that didn’t work. No covers just a thin sheet. Only good thing was the driver with the gold teeth who ran me to the store. This place shouldn’t be listed on this site. It doesn’t meet anyone standards
