“Reception was an easy check in, no lift to second floor, no help with suitcase. Room was spacious and had everything I needed fan iron tea making things (no dcaff options). Breakfast was basic again no dcaff options (i did ask for dcaff t bags and was told on order) they never appeared, gluten free options very basic no GF bread, the sausage were not nice, menu choices for dinner again very poor I had chips because only option, all staff were lovely. I was at the bar one night ordering...

“Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. On our first night, a Husky in a nearby room howled throughout the night, waking me several times. This is supposed to be a pet free hotel?! Thankfully, the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and moved us to another room away from the noise. She was the only member of staff who really stood out positively during our stay. Unfortunately, the second room had its own issues. The main lights...

“Spa and pool were excellent used both . No air conditioning in our Deluxe room and the Dyson fan just didn’t help much at all . Shame really . Breakfast was good one day and not quite so good the next day ( different chefs they said ) . All staff at the 3 properties were really helpful especially the chauffeuse .”

“The bathroom was small and dirty with mould growing up the pipes behind the wc. The w.c. was filthy in the bowl. The stairs leading to the room - the Stour Room - were dusty with bitts all over The property looks lovely outside but i would not recommend it to anyone and i think you should visit this inn urgently. ”
