“This is an excellent location to stay when staying on Mersea Island. Plenty of restaurants nearby and few minute walk to sea. Well appointed house with good garden facilities, owner in good contact if needed. Thank you”

“Lovely house in a lovely location but we had a few issues. The property details said there was a barbecue which had planned to use. There was no barbecue! Instead we had to use the ovens in the kitchen. Both ovens were very dirty one of them filled the kitchen with acrid smoke as soon as we turned it on . It was such a shame because the standards of cleanliness elsewhere in the property were very high. With a barbecue and a clean oven this would have been a pretty much perfect house.”

“Our stay was fantastic and the communication between the owner was smooth. Caravan was clean and lots of quality utensils and cooking pots, i cant fault it at all. I will strongly recommend this host.”

“Good position for the on site shop and amenities Unfortunately no outside furniture ( chairs/table ) for the terrace Hade to provide our own sheets pillow cases Tea towels and no toilet rolls on arrival ”

“The farm that the hut was located in was great. Lots of animals around and it was really fun feeding the alpacas! Host was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great getaway from the city. The directions could have been clearer, there’s no mention that I could see of the farms name however this was quickly resolved by a 1 minute phone call to the host. ”
