“Unique property. Was not very crowded when i came and stayed in the Yurt. Excellent communication with staff. Very helpful staff, at that. Quiet and peaceful during my time there.”

“Great place to getaway and relax. It was quiet, of the main road and the property and cabin were well maintained. Water level in the lake was good, and it was fun to watch the night come to life under the stars. We saw plenty of deer and even an armadillo came strolling by the porch on its way down to the lake to get some water. Good spot and would go back. ”

“The host was super attentive and answered all of my questions. The entire cabin was clean and tidy. The kitchen was great and allowed me to cook full meals. The view of the lake was a lovely especially while sitting in rocking chairs. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3.”

“Friendly greeting upon arrival. Peaceful one night stay. Full size couch w/2 recliners on each end. Clean cabin. The walk to the river is pleasant, paved, and not too far. Lots of shady areas, near the river. Very private & enough space for other guests that are staying at the same property.Covered porch. The deer gather front & center for mealtime. Close enough to the main road coming in, but without the noise of the traffic. ”

“What an amazing experience. Even though I planned this trip last minute, our hosts Zachary and Anna were so gracious to us and accommodated our needs with my 2&4 year old littles. The homemade breakfast in the morning was delightful and we felt so comfortable and at home on their beautiful grounds. We will definitely be going back for another stay soon!”

“we loved our stay. it’s very quiet but you can be in Kerrville in like 15 minutes or Bandera in maybe 20-25. we hit HEB and James Avery and stayed put the rest of the time. it’s exactly as peaceful as we were looking for. ”

“We enjoyed our night in this cute Sotol Hill Lighthouse! The owners were readily available for check in, and the property is so comfy. Porch-sitting was a GREAT activity, birds and the hills and the sun all cooperated for a great experience. We will enjoy returning!”

“Cute cabin overlooking the hill country! We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger. The incinerator toilet is interesting but works just fine. ”

“We are local to the area & found this Glamping gem last minute for a close weekend trip. Who knew this beautiful little spot was less than 30 mins from home. We took our two dogs- who I think enjoyed their time & the views just as much as we did.! The weather was perfect, so the temperature of our tent was as well. We enjoyed our time outside as well as inside. Our tent had everything we needed & then some. We are already making plans to come back as well as our extended family who we know would...

“My family, 2 dogs included, had a wonderful time at this cabin. This felt like a great getaway from work and daily life routine. We walked our way down to the river and had a blast. We were also about 45mins away from Fredericksburg. Secluded enough to enjoy family time. 10/10. Definitely coming back one day! ”

“The property was amazing other than it's hard to get to the pond to fish. Watching the ducks and antelope was fun though. Owner was very nice and fixed an issue with the cabin immediately. Two things I would change is the pillows in the bedroom and having better quality dishes. My food stuck to both pans provided. I would definitely consider staying again. ”
