“We were on our way to a wedding on the weekend in Granbury and decided to stop in Fredericksburg for two nights. This is our fourth stay in Fredericksburg and 10th in the hill country and this was one of our favorite accommodations. The kitchen and living areas were quite large for the studio style set up ( the bedroom is not completely separate). The kitchen was also well equipped which isn’t always the case. “Great place to getaway and relax. It was quiet, of the main road and the property and cabin were well maintained. Water level in the lake was good, and it was fun to watch the night come to life under the stars. We saw plenty of deer and even an armadillo came strolling by the porch on its way down to the lake to get some water. Good spot and would go back. ”

“My husband and I booked the Maner Cabin for a much needed getaway for just the two of us and it did not disappoint! It was exactly what we needed to escape and unplug. The cabin was quaint and cozy. We loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs, watching the wildlife as a breeze blew through. If you're looking for a spot to unplug from the world and reconnect with nature and/or your partner, this is absolutely the place to do it!”

“My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3.”

“Friendly greeting upon arrival. Peaceful one night stay. Full size couch w/2 recliners on each end. Clean cabin. The walk to the river is pleasant, paved, and not too far. Lots of shady areas, near the river. Very private & enough space for other guests that are staying at the same property.Covered porch. The deer gather front & center for mealtime. Close enough to the main road coming in, but without the noise of the traffic. ”
