“The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! ”

“If you’re looking for seclusion but still be close to civilization, this was it. I was by myself taking a few days away from the family for a reset and it was fabulous. Very little traffic noise, actually there was hardly any. And there were fireflies at night. It was great”

“Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year”

“We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning!”

“One of the best places I've stayed with my family, hands down! My kids spent most of the day catching crawfish and lizards in the creek. We got close with one of the neighbors and it made the trip a million times better. Not only did i feel at home with my kids (hard for me), but i made lifelong memories with my family. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. For future guests, the instructions say not to leave food in your car. That's a good rule and I'm glad our car was already unloaded.”
