We loved spending time in Jonesborough and riding bikes on the Tweetsie Rails to Trails between Johnson City and Elizabethon. “For some one that is in recovery from triple by pass there are no railings for the steps,I had to use my family to get up the stairs. “My husband is disabled and we don't get to get out much this little cabin was just what we needed we sat outside on the porch early morning watching the dark turn into light the sound of the water trees whistling in the wind the Canadian geese were beautiful cabin was so clean and nicely kept and the host was prompt with everything we needed I definitely found our favorite place thanks for making our 29th anniversary a memorable trip ”

The views from the balconies were great as well. Managing the stairs with luggage was a bit challenging. “The mountain is so beautiful and removed from the chaos of city life. The drive up the mountain is a bit scary but as long as you follow the notes from Terry, it’s completely manageable for an SUV. I have a Jeep Wrangler and had no issues. It’s perfect for someone who just wants to get away. ”
