This house has a lovely view, a spacious deck, and tons of privacy. However, some things were unexpected or inconvenient. First, the house is, obviously, on top of a hill on a cliffside. The hosts give little instructions for navigating the hill to arrive at the property. The entrance to the driveway is on a steep incline near the corner at the end of its street -- so steep that if you enter the street from the intersection closest to the house, you cannot enter the driveway. There is also a manual gate to the driveway that you have to get out to open and close every time you want to enter. Be careful as you enter the neighborhood -- there are tons of deer all over. As some reviews have mentioned, there is a moth ball smell in the house. I was aware of it for most of the trip but didn't find it to be too bothersome, especially with plenty of windows open. However, the master bathroom and kitchen is incredibly lacking. The shower is confusing, the water settings inconsistent, and the supplies insufficient. The house is a lovely getaway, not without its problems. A nice view but a somewhat tedious stay.
